"You had a choice. Why did you choose Slytherin?"

"I thought I could change things. Why did you?"

"It was my legacy."

SUMMARY

Nikolas Archer came from a proud line of Slytherins — he was proud of it too. He wouldn't let some know it all Ravenclaw, prejudice Gryffindor, or even a judging Hufflepuff change that. Being in his year, Nikolas had dealt with all the bad mouthing James Potter walked around with. He was prepared for more when the next Potter came.

But Albus Potter was sorted into Slytherin.

Fine, whatever. Didn't mean anything. He could adjust and it didn't really matter; but it did. It did because he couldn't hate him and he was so good and kind. Nikolas couldn't take it, there was no reason for Albus to be sorted into Slytherin. He had one, it was his legacy.

NOTES
-Only friends call Nikolas Nik

-Remember, Nikolas and Albus are two years apart

-Nikolas isn't a bad person, he's just tried of all the bullshit the other houses still put on the Slytherins

-Albus is a sweetheart and I love him ( but he can still be awesome because he is )

-because of the whole school's change when Albus is sorted into Slytherin, Nikolas is confused and harsh words will be thrown around

-Nik is far from perfect, he has anger issues. That's who is is and he will mess up a lot. There should be struggles between the two of them for more than a chapter

-Nik isn't a pure blood but his whole family line has been Slytherin
