SUMMARY!

Valentine Odare wasn't normal. But she was exceptional at hiding it. She was half vampire, half witch. Not everyone agreed with her blood status so she kept her real identity a secret, and she kept that secret for sixteen years.

Hugo and Rose Weasley ruined her perfect secret when she was hired to babysit the duo for the weekend. That's when her troubles began. They exposed her to their cousins and she felt alone again.

But James, he didn't care. He thought that it was astonishing and always smiled at Valentine. She took his kindness as generosity and returned it in hopes of a true friendship.

Back at school, Valentine's secret is exposed. She is shunned in her house of Slytherin for being a half-breed and nobody else will converse with her because of who she is.

But some people can look past who she is on the outside and see her.

NOTES!

-this story is mainly about self acceptance, Valentine hates that she's part vampire and though the story she learns to love her self

-she's a HALF vampire. She has her limits, she can't suck people's blood, she can't fly, she has above average strength and speed though, she's not immortal, she's sixteen

-she's literally a badass like Toni Topaz so make sure she was her snarky comebacks and insults

-she's a Slytherin

-James isn't frightened by her, but he doesn't exactly like her at first

-it's a very open story because my babysitters a vampire was my show
