SUMMARY!

Alice Greendale just moved across the street from the famous Potter family. She and her family come from the crowded streets of New York, hoping for a silent change. But, the Potter kids would never allow that.

Their adventure begins in an anti-magic summer, both families posses the magical genes, but will not reveal their secrets to one another. So, the Potters and the Greendales have a summer filled with fun and adventure, without magic.

But when James returns to Hogwarts, he finds Alice there, waiting on the train just like he was. It was a brilliant surprise for them both, but when James shrugs her off when the quidditch team rolls around, things get tense and awkward.

NOTES

-everyone knows Betty's quote from riverdale about how she's tired of being the perfect daughter and stuff, use it at some point, probably at her breaking point

-the potters and the greendales are both magical families but they won't reveal it because you know secrecy

-i get a lot of grease vibes from alice and james, like how danny pretended not to really know sandy

-cute story about dynamics, alice and james develop overtime

-their summer was fantastic, make sure you write a good portion about the holidays, it's super important so if you need ideas please come to me
