When Jason first saw Leo running towards them, he thought it was a hallucination.

But then Piper noticed too. They just stared in shock as Leo and another girl Jason didn't recognize came up to them.

Piper reacted first. She ran towards Leo at full speed, tears streaming down her face. She tackled him in a hug, knocking him of balance. They sat in the dirt, their arms around each other.

"If this is a dream, "Piper said shakily, "Gods, I swear-"

Leo laughed, "It's okay, beauty queen. I'm here. This isn't a dream."

Jason ran toward them and took them both in his arms. By that time, they were all crying.

"How are you here?" Jason wondered aloud.

"I'll catch you all up later so I only have to explain it once." Leo stood, brushing dirt off his pants, "In the meantime, I might as well introduce you to Calypso."

He backed up a few steps and put his arm on the waist of a girl with light auburn hair that was pulled back in a braid. She had sparkling eyes and a light sprinkle of freckles. She was dressed in a white Greek tunic that was stained in dirt and oil. Jason had to admit, she was naturally beautiful.

"Friends, this is my girlfriend!" Leo stated, and to prove it he kissed Calypso's cheek affectionately.

Jason was dumbfounded. They thought Leo had died but instead he had ran off and got himself a girlfriend?

Apparently, Piper was thinking the same thing. Her tears renewed, angry this time, she stepped forward and slapped him smartly across the cheek. "While we were here mourning over your death, you went and got a girlfriend?!" She faced Calypso, "No offense to you."

"None taken." Calypso replied sweetly.

Leo began to explain, massaging him cheek, "Umm... Do you guys remember that one time when Khione blasted me off the Argo II and I was gone for a while? Well I was sent to Calypso's island. I had to leave so I could go back to the quest, but the island was cursed. When you leave, it's impossible to find it again. Well, I kind of swore on the river Styx that I would come back for her, so... When I um, died, Festus gave me the antidote and took me to her island again. So I picked her up and here we are now."

Piper and Jason just stared at him.

"You swore on the river Styx, Leo?" Jason said, "You know that's really dangerous, right?"

Leo rubbed the back of his neck, looking uncomfortable, "Yeah... Well what could I do, leave her there? No I... I love her. People do crazy things for love."

Calypso looked at Leo with adoration. Jason could tell it was the first time Leo had used the L word about their relationship.

They began to walk back to the canoe lake, Leo's hand in Calypso's, and Piper's in Jason's.

Jason watched as the other demigods began to notice Leo and Calypso. They stood and gaped at the boy that was supposed to be dead and a gorgeous goddess type girl in a Greek tunic.

Suddenly Chiron came cantering up to them, "Leo Valdez! I was informed by a half-blood of your appearance. I was also informed that you were killed in the battle with Gaea. How can both be possible?"

Leo grinned, "You have no idea how many times I have been asked that question in the past half hour. Get a group together and I'll explain. It'll be a long story, so be prepared to get comfy."
