1. April 2020

3rd POV

Liu Yi Fei sat in her Rolls Royce and was smiling the whole time. She took a look at the clock and saw it was already 12:10 am. As soon as the car stopped in front of the hotel she and her father was staying at, she took off of her shoes and jumped out of the car. She walked into the elevator and pressed the button for the presidential suite. The moment the door opened again she run barefoot along the hallway, opened the door to the suite and was greeted my her father who was already waiting for her.

When Ji Qilin saw the state her daughter was in he got worried instantly. "Yi Fei? Why do you run barefoot in the hotel? You are not a child, you 29. Why are you even running in the first place? This is something you shouldn't do in public at all. You should be elegant and calm... Darling what happened? Did that Yibo do something?" He bombarded his daughter but Liu Yi Fei just giggled and shook her head.

"Come here, princess. Sit down, drink some water, calm down and then tell your old man why you are behaving so unusual." He said and gave his daughter a glass water.

It took Liu Yi Fei about five minutes to calm down but she still could not stop giggling after remembering the date with Yibo. Ji Qilin got slowly worried.

"Father, I was right." She said excitingly.

"With what exactly?" Ji Qilin asked her.

"About Yibo, Father. He is the right one, I am sure of it. He is charming, polite, honest, kind, smart and cute. He is handsome and funny. Father, I like him. And if possible I want to marry him." Liu Yi Fei said very fast, scared that her father might interrupt her speech. But Ji Qilin just laughed.

"Calm down, Yi Fei. Tell me everything from the beginning." He said gently and listened to her daughter's story. While he listened he observed his daughter closely and saw her shining brightly. That is something she never did in the past when he asked her how her dates proceeded. She also giggled continuously like a 7 year old girl and sighed often too. Ji Qilin realized right away that his daughter fell madly in love with Wang Yibo and that made him happy. Finally Yi Fei came out of herself, took interest in a man and even fell in love with him.

The best thing was that Qilin too was quite fond of Wang Yibo. He may have seen the latter only once but he saw right away how handsome, polite and friendly Yibo was. When he said to James Huang he wanted to adopt Yibo he was just joking but now it seems like he really could be his son after all.

Yi Fei finished her story and looked at her father pleadingly.

"Does he have a girlfriend?" He asked her and she shook her head right away.

"No, Father. He does not. He told me himself that this was his first date. Father, I am his first! I want to be the first in everything. His first woman, date, kiss, girlfriend, fiance, wife, whatever it is, I want to be his first. Father, please. Can you ask for his hand in marriage?"

"Alright, I will ask his father tomorrow. But I hope that you will not be too sad, if he turns down." Qilin said and it almost broke his heart seeing his daughter so sad like this so he tried to cheer her up.

"But don't worry too much about it. Who would reject you? You are rich, beautiful, gentle, smart and elegant... I mean ... maybe not always elegant but ...-" He said but her daughter slapped him very lightly on his arm and smiled.

Qilin laughed. "There is your beautiful smile. Don't worry, Darling. Let me handle everything," He said and Yi Fei nodded.

"But Father.... If he really should reject me then so be it."

"But Darling, I can see how much you like him." Qilin frowned.  

"I do. And I know you want me to be happy. But I don't want to force anyone into a marriage! The least Yibo. We cant just force someone just because we are royal and you know that. I will take over the throne and I will marry. But if Yibo does not return my feelings than forget about this topic. Promise?"

"Alright. I promise."

After that she nodded satisfied and went to bed as she was very tired.

"Guess I will have to talk to James tomorrow." Qilin mumbled and also went to bed after realizing it was already 1:40 am.

The morning arrived and Ji Qilin prepared a big breakfast just for his daughter and waited for her to wake up. When the clock stroked 10 am and she still was nowhere in sight he decided to look after her. He found her sleeping deeply and did want to disturb her so he left quietly.

He ate breakfast alone and when he finished he dialed James Huang's number.

"Yes, Qilin? What can I do for you?" He heard James Huang's voice.

"My friend, we need to talk. How about we meet at 2 pm at your restaurant?" Qilin asked him.

"You sound yet again very serious. I will be there." James Huang answered carefully.

"That's good. See you in a few hours." Qilin answered and cut the call. Soon his daughter came into the dining hall after she took a shower and made herself presentable.

"Good morning Father. Did you already talk with Mr. Wang and Yibo?" She asked excitingly the moment she saw him.

"Darling, its only 10:30 am. When should I have done this? Hm? Don't worry I will talk to James later. And now eat something." He answered her and signaled her to sit down.

At exactly 2 pm Qilin arrived at the restaurant and was escorted to the VVIP room where James Huang already waited nervously for him. The moment James Huang cut the call earlier he was very worried about the contract. He knew his son quite well and therefore also his habit for telling what he was thinking without caring what others might think. He also expected that this habit of him will get him in a serious situation someday which seemed to have arrived at last.

When he thought about the possibility, that the offered contract will be taken back because of his son made him very angry but as Yibo was not at home right now, in fact will only come home really late due to his duty in school and his damn part time jobs, he could not let out his anger at him right now.

He hated it that Yibo had those part time job because James Huang knew very well of his son's plans for leaving as soon as he had his degree and earned enough money. That was something he would prevent somehow. He cant afford to lose Yibo as he need him to marry a woman to increase and secure his wealth. A woman James Huang will chose. Actually he already had one girl in mind, the niece of the president who studies at the same university as Yibo

He knew through a secret source that that girl only attend the same university because of Yibo. She saw him at a Gala and took an interest on him. A wedding with that girl was the choice to get not only richer but very influential in china while his status will increase. He wanted to wait a little more before asking for a marriage between them but now it seems like he will have to do it sooner.

He is not only worried about the contract but about his friendship with the King of Myanmar as well. A deal between James Huang and the royal family was something he desperately wanted as his wealth and status in society depends on it.

James Huang was deep in his thoughts that he did not realized the arrival of Ji Qiling. Only when the latter called him did he stood up and looked at him in surprise.

"Qilin, you already here. I am sorry I did not notice you. Please sit down. Do you want to drink something?" He asked slightly nervous.

"No my friend, not yet. But maybe later after we talked. Lets get straight to the topic. Did your son tell you what happened yesterday?" Qilin asked and waited for an answer.

James Huang didn't dare to lie to the king and gave an honest answer. "No, he did not. But he seemed rather ... uncomfortable."

"What do you think might happened?" Qilin asked further.

"I really don't know but I know the habits of my son. He probably said something without thinking much about the consequences. I really hope Princes Yi Fei does not take it to heart. But if it really was something not acceptable I will punish him for sure."

Ji Qiling started to laugh. "No need for a punishment. My daughter really liked it how honest Yibo was. She wasn't offended in any way, so don't worry." He said and James Huang sighed in relieve until he heard the next sentences.

"I promised you a business deal but I think we should cancel that." Qilin said and James Huang was shocked but before he could ask him to overthink his decision the king continued.

"The date yesterday was .... the best thing hat could have happened. My daughter fell in love with your son, my friend. Unbelievable, right? I knew right away that your son was a great boy. It was the first time my daughter raved about a man after a date. You should have seen her ... giggling continuously like a 7-years old girl. So .....I want to ask you ... how about we forget this stupid business deal and go one step further?" He asked.

James Huang was a smart man. A very smart man but as this ... offer was too good to be true, he needed to be sure he understood it right. "Qilin.. what do you mean? Please explain."

"My friend, I am asking you for Yibo's hand in marriage. My daughter never took interest in any man even after going on several dates. Your son achieved something no man could before and that is ..... making my daughter fall in love with him. The happiness of my daughter is the most important goal in my life. And she will be very happy to marry Yibo so I am asking you, is a wedding between our kids possible? What do you think is Yibo thinking about my daughter?" He asked seriously.

'A wedding between crown princess Yi Fei and Yibo? That is 1000x better than marrying the niece of the president. When Yibo marries Yi Fei he will be crowned a king in the future! The King of Myanmar! And I will be the King's father! That... I will be even richer than I could ever imagine, my status in society will shoot up. I will be a royal myself! I will do everything to get Yibo into this marriage. Finally he can pay me back for raising him!' James Huang thought and almost laughed out but he controlled himself.

"James, we love our children very much. My daughter is a beautiful, smart, gentle and elegant woman. When you read the news you know that even the prince of India is courting her. There are others princes and important people trying to gain my daughter's love. But Yi Fei does not like him or anyone else, she fell in love with your son. I don't want my daughter to be sad. At the moment she sits in our suite and waits for the good news. Do you think Yibo will agree to this?" Qilin said and looked into James eyes.

'I am really happy she finally fell in love and chose someone she wants to grow old with. I don't know what Yibo thinks about my daughter but he cant possibly dislike her. She has everything a man wants. Nevertheless I don't want to make my daughter sad by forcing Yibo to marry her nor do I even want to force Yibo. He is a great and honest man. He deserves happiness too. If Yibo should refuse I will ask him to go an at least one more date with her, to get to know her better.... If there is still no possibility... I guess I will have to try my best to find another good match for her. The Prince of India seems to be a good choice.... ' Qiling thought and waited for James answer.

"I will accept, Qilin. I will ask Yibo later but I already know the answer when I remember how he behaved after yesterdays date. Do you think he would refuse?" James Huang said confidently and Qilin laughed.

"No way he would. But I still want to be sure. If he should decline then there is nothing we can do. We cant possibly force our kids to lead an unhappy life, right? We can still have the business deal. Lets talk about the further details about that deal right now." Qilin said and James Huang agreed.

"I agree. Even if I think it will be unnecessary as the wedding surley will take place. I know my son the best. How about we will talk not only about the business deal but about the wedding as well?"

"You seem to be very confident." Qiling chuckled. "Well, then lets talk about both things. But I want you to ask Yibo first. Without his confirmation there will be no wedding."

"Of course. Of course. I will talk to him later. Lets start."

The two fathers sat there till 9 pm to plan for everything. James Huang still could not believe he will soon be part of a royal family. 'I guess now its time for my secret weapon. With that he has no other choice as to marry Princess Yi Fei.' James Huang thought and brought back his attention to Qilin and the plans for the business deal as well as for the possibly upcoming wedding.  

Ji Qilin arrived the hotel at 10 pm. Just as he was about to enter the elevator he got a message from James Huang. He opened it and .... smiled relived.

James: Just talked to him. Its seems your daughter is not the only one in love, my friend. Yibo agreed to marry Yi Fei.

Qilin: That are wonderful news! I am really happy to deliver them to my daughter. I guess all the plans we decided earlier can be executed right away?

James: You cant believe how happy I am! Yes, we can start right away. I did not tell him about the date of his wedding yet. That would be too much information for one day, right?

Qilin: Probably. Then I will make the preparations. Thank you, James.

James: I will hear from you, my friend.

He thought Yi Fei would be sleeping already but when he entered their suite his daughter came running to him.

"Father, Father. What did he say? Did he agree? Father, say something." Liu Yi Fei pleaded.

"Yi Fei, you don't act like a princess at all. You better never show this behavior in public, do you hear me!?" Qilin said strictly but his eyes showed that he was not really mad at her.

"I am sorry, Father. But I feel so nervous right now. Please tell me what he said."

"Of course he agreed. What did you think? He would refuse such a beautiful, smart and lovable woman?" Qiling answered and his daughter teared up. "Darling? What is wrong?" Qiling asked her worried but she shook her head.

"I am just so happy. I thought that maybe he did not like me as he did not show it. That Yibo really agreed, I am so happy. You did not force him, right? Father?" Liu Yi Fei asked.

"Of course not! I would never force anyone! He agreed on his own. I just got the news from James."

"I am so happy." Yi Fei announced and now started to cry.

'I always believed sooner or later I will have to marry someone I do not love in order to take over the throne. I never thought I would fall in love... And now I did not only fell in love but he returns my feelings? I cant be more happy. Mother, do you see me? I am going to marry the man I love, just like you.'

"Shhht, its okay, darling. You will soon marry your love and tomorrow morning we will held a press conference to announce it to the world. So stop crying and go to bed." Qiling said to his daughter. She nodded happily and walked into her room to get some sleep.

Qilin waited till his daughter was in her room before going into his own.  

Somewhere in Beijing

It was 11:15 pm and a person in white was sneaking into a big house. Two days ago he put a card with the thief's signature and a picture of the object he wanted to steal through the mail slot of that couple who lived there and announced his arrival. He thought there would be a lot of security as the object he wanted to steal was not cheap. The ring was a 79 carat diamond ring which belonged to the boyfriend of the owner of that house.

But to the thief's surprise the house was seemingly empty. Of course he was not stupid enough to think he was safe so he carefully moved around inside that house. He wanted to search for the ring and disappear as fast as he could. Strangely the object he was looking for laid openly on the table in the living room. The thief knew something wasn't right but before he could escape the light went on and a woman in her late twenties stood in front of him.

He knew who that woman was. It was the girlfriend of his victim and owner of this house. She was 28 years old and dated her boyfriend for about 6 years. The thief always came prepared.

Both of them looked at each other very carefully.

"I was waiting for you, Halfmoon Thief!" The woman said confidently.

"I guessed as much. And I am sorry to let such a beautiful woman wait. May I know why you are alone? Where is the security? The police? I announced my arrival two days ago, right?" The Halfmoon Thief answered relaxed.

"They are not here. I was the first person to find your card and kept it hidden." The woman said.

"Oh? And why is that? Don't tell me because .... ?"

"Of course it was because of the free wish. I was told that whoever sees the Halfmoon Thief during his deed will get a wish fulfilled by him, no matter what it is. Aren't I right?"

"Only half. If its something like killing or hurting others physically or mentally then... no, I will not do that. But if its something else I will do it as good as I can. So... you hid my card to catch me during the act just so you will get a wish fulfilled? I hope its not something like leaving the diamond ring untouched... That would mean I came for nothing ... That cant be it..." The Halfmoon Thief said and smiled mischievously.

"No it's not. You can take it. I just want my wish."

"I don't think your boyfriend would be happy about it when he finds out his ring is gone. I know he loves it a lot. That is the reason for me to steal it after all. But I don't mind that. Now, young lady, tell me your wish and I will grant it." He said and waited.

The woman took out some photos and threw them on the table. The Halfmoon Thief took them while looking at each one of them. He raised his brows.

"I see. Your boyfriend is cheating on you and that even with two different women. Now what do you want? Taking revenge on these women for stealing your boyfriend? As long as its not killing or hurting them, I don't mind." The Halfmoon Thief said and waited for an answer.

"I don't want revenge on them but revenge on my boyfriend." The woman said confident.

"Oh? Is that so? Alright, then tell me how." The Halfmoon Thief asked amused.

"Easy. Sleep with me!" She said and The Halfmoon Thief was surprised to hear her wish.

"Sleep with you? How is that taking revenge? When he cheats on you he probably has no feelings left for you so when you sleep with me you will get nothing out of it. Well... except a lot of pleasure for one night. I dont want to show of but... I am really good in almost everything I do, including sex. "

"Why do you think he did not leave me till now? I know he still has feelings for me but I am someone who does not like to sleep with my boyfriend everyday. Unfortunately he is someone who wants to do it almost everyday so he goes to someone else. I want to prevent him from doing that by cheating in front of his eyes." She explained.

"Then you could have done it already with any man. Why me?"

"I don't know if you remember it but you once stole a very expensive and important necklace. It belonged to my boyfriend's boss. After you stole it, the wife of his boss left him as she was only after his money. When his boss bought the necklace he could not pay for it and had to lend money from loan sharks. His wife divorced him and because of all his debts his boss went bankrupt and my boyfriend lost his beloved and good paid job. Since that time he hated you deeply."

"Ah, I remember the necklace. It is beautiful and has a good place in my home. So, your boyfriend hates me. I get it. But if I sleep with you he might start to hate you too. Don't you think?"

"Not if it looks like you seduced me. When he starts to hate me, so be it. That way I at least tried my every best." She explained.

"Then explain me how you want him to know and what you think might happen." The Halfmoon Thief asked her.

The Halfmoon Thief did not mind sleeping with her. Its been a long time since he shared a bed with someone anyway and he longed for some skin contact. Moreover when he promised something, he will try his best to keep it. She caught him, he will fulfill her wish. It would be a win for both sides. As honest as the Halfmoon Thief was, he admitted he was a playboy. Who does not want to have a hot night every now and then. He was a lonely man with needs too. He will be one until he found the right one and who knew when that might be.

"My boyfriend does not know you will come today. He will be home in about 30 minutes and he will caught us during the act. He will get really mad at you and will think I got seduced by you. Which means he will think you, his biggest enemy, has taken an interest in me. That will want him to make sure I will stay with him. Then I will reveal that I know of his cheating and ask him to leave these women and to never cheat on me again or else I will leave him to be together with you.

To you it might be childish and you will think my plan is not really logical but I know my boyfriend the best. If he really loves me he will reacted the way I just explained. Any more questions?" She asked the Halfmoon Thief who smiled at her.

"Just one thing. How are you so sure that I would accept to sleep with you. I could just say: No, wish for something else. So?"

"You mean apart from the fact that you can have fun? I know for sure that a friend of a distant relative of my colleague had the same wish 4 years ago as I now, and back then you fulfilled it. You stole ..."

".... her glasses with the gold-plated frame and two tiny diamonds on it. I remember. How could I not. Well, if you think you thought it through then ... as you wish." The Halfmoon Thief said and bowed.

"Thank you. I will keep that ring on the table so when you escape later you can take it with you." The woman said and started unbutton her blouse.

"Wait! There is one rule!" The Halfmoon Thief said.

"Yes?"

"You are not allowed to take off my mask!" He said and waited for her answer.

"I will not. I am not interest in you or your face. Don't worry" She answered after she took off all her clothes. The Halfmoon Thief smirked and did the same.

"Here? Or in the bedroom?" The Halfmoon Thief asked mischievously.

"Bedroom. The condoms are also in there." She said and walked inside her bedroom followed by the thief.

Soon the bedroom was filled with moans and other sounds.

'I didn't do it since some time now ... I am happy to have a chance to do it now. I did not even know that I was almost at my limit. If she did not wish for it today, I would have chose someone else in the next couple of days anyway.' The Halfmoon Thief thought and chuckled.

After the first round the woman asked the thief how many people actually saw him and got fulfilled a wish. While they started the next round he counted them.

"It were 5 in total. The first one was a man. He wanted to cheat on the insurance company and asked me to give him another card with a picture of one of his expensive items. That way he could get the insurance money but secretly keeping the object for himself." He explained and the woman moaned loudly.

Not once did she tried to take off the Halfmoon Thief's mask nor did she screamed for more. The sex she is having right now is only to get her boyfriend back, nothing more. Sure, she felt good but she wished the man on top of her was her boyfriend, and not the thief. She promised herself to do it more often with him as of now. The thief might be skeptical but she knew for sure her boyfriend will come back to her.

"The second one was that friend of your relative who wanted me to sleep with her. I think she was sexually frustrated. The third one was a woman as well and wanted to take revenge on her rival by catching her during her many one night stands so she could take photos and blackmail her. The fourth one was a man again. He was around 75 years old. I liked his wish the most. He wanted to surprise his wife with her favorite cake but the bakery was closed down. So I went to that baker who lived in another city and asked for the recipe. Thankfully she gave it to me and I gave it to that man so he could make his wife happy. And the last one  ... is you." He said and thursted so long till they came for the second time.

The woman was out of breath and looked at the clock. "He will be here any minute."

The Halfmoon Thief smirked and started anew. The woman kept moaning in pleasure and soon there were steps in the corridor. The woman heard it too and asked the Halfmoon Thief to keep saying his text to which he complied. 

The boyfriend did not come in right away and that confused both, the woman and the thief. Only after ten minutes he entered and started to scream at him and accusing him for trying to seduce and steal his beloved girlfriend.

Right after that the sirens of the police could be heard and the Halfmoon Thief understood that the boyfriend called the police before entering the bedroom.

He cursed, run pass the boyfriend and left the house through the window he came in after he hurriedly taken off the condom and dressed himself. Of course not without stealing the ring he came for in the first place.

He heard the police chasing after him and he tried his best to escape.

Okay so the Halfmoon Thief already appeared and seems to be quite a playboy, dont you think^^

Yi Fei and Qilin both think that Yibo agreed on his own. That is not a good sign. 

Lets see what will happen next. You will find out on Thursday. ^^
