Chapter 9| The One and Only Evil Idiot

She passed out when she saw the blood spots on the paper.

Just kidding.

But she went directly to sleep because it turned out that she has blood phobia or something. I think I read about these issues.

I grabbed the book and the letters and went to my room. I continued reading the book; it was the life of a very normal little girl, what was so special then?

I put it away and started getting through the letters trying to identify which one was the first until my door went open.

"I thought you were asleep" I stated.

"I was, but I was taken up by my thoughts..." she said slowly pointing at her head.

"Wow! I didn't know that you and your brother have a brain" I said sarcastically.

"Ha ha, very funny," she said trying to hide the smile forming on her lips.

She got up next to me on the bed and played with her fingers on her lap.

"Millicent?"

"Mhmm?"

"What is the place 'Destiny' the book talked about? I mean, I never thought fate was a place."

"Well, it's technically not a place they just call the place they 'do it' in, 'destiny'"

"Do what?"

"DESTINY!"

"Okay...expand?" Josephine slowly added

"Okay..." I sighed "look, how you think the whole 'destiny' thing goes in our world? Well, there is a place called 'destiny' as you read in the book. This place is where the emperor of the witches and wizards lives. By the way, the emperor of nature is the most powerful wizard to control nature and stuff. Anyway, he has something like a story or something; he has the story of every and each one there. I don't know about here but he must-sorry back to the point. So as I said he has the story of every-"

"You've said it for the third time!!" She exclaimed.

"Oh...sorry, er-well he makes sure to give everyone, some options and that's what we call fate. The options we choose affect our destiny."

"Oooh! I think I got it! Like what will be your destiny if we chose to eat a lot of sugar?"

"Um-diabetes?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Fat Millicent. We will get fat."

"That's not exactly the kind of destiny I was talking about..." how hard is to explain something to this girl!

Believe me, it's way too hard.

"Then what is it?" She asked excitedly, does she ever get tired unless she sighted blood?

"Well, I meant the kind of 'big destinies', like if you chose to be an evil bi-sorry, an evil thing, like Elaria, the one and only evil idiot, I mean I always thought, that evil people should be smart, they should have a little piece of brain at least, but no Elaria broke the damn rule and-sorry did I got out of the point?"

"You are now out of the borders of the point." She said sarcastically "anyway, who is Elaria?"

"The evil dumb princess, that who she is."

"That's funny! Because the way you talk about her reminds me of a book character that-ooh!"

"What 'ooh'?"

"Just wait right here." She got out of the room.

A few seconds passed and she returned with a book in her hands, she sat on the bed and read put the book on her lap, I didn't read its title as she flipped the pages really quickly and stopped at a picture, of what seems Elaria?

"Is this her?"

"Y-yes but how?" I confusedly asked.

"I don't know but-wait does everyone in your world have a story in ours as a fantasy story?" She questioned.

"Define 'everyone'..."

"Like Cinderella and that kind of stuff"

"Wait! You know Cinderella?" I asked loudly.

"Duh...who doesn't?"

"I can't believe that this-this thing is famous here too," I said with a disgusted face.

She opened and closed her mouth like a goldfish; I guess she didn't know what the right question to ask is.

"Um-I thought everyone liked her."

"Nobody, either in your world or mine is liked by everyone."

She raised her eyebrows waiting for me to continue

"When she worked at this house no one knew her then, but when she became a princess, she was the meanest with servants and maids, she was all girly and kind in front of people and with us, she was rude, selfish, and mean she showed her true self in front of us. Until she got in some troubles and got off the throne with the dumb prince she has as a husband."

"That's why the book never told what she did after getting married!" She said looking like she finally understood science.

"Well, I wouldn't be surprised at that," I said factly.

Are they going to make me a book someday? And would I become a fictional, legendary character to them?

Nah.

We kept talking and talking and she kept telling me some funny stories from childhood and I told her some of mine and Caroline adventures.

I really miss Caroline...

She would be totally freaked out by now; it truly annoys me how I didn't think of her much lately, until now.

Josephine explained to me some things, like phones, how to use the laptop and TV.

It was 3 am and apparently we both were really tired, that we both fell asleep while talking.

It's like I finally have more than one friend.

A family maybe?
