Lorne and 3Gun arrived back on the Rickety stage with Enzo's body and handed it off to Unger who sent Shamus off to Boot Hill to bury it. Lorne went straight to Myna who gave him what for then cried because he was safe, and continued worrying about AJ and Ray.

An old timer named Red Rock Bill showed up in town and when he learned about the two sick men, he recommended an old Indian medicine man named Snake Bite. Doc was at wits end so he agreed and Lorne rode off to fetch the medicine man.

Sure enough, he performed his magic ritual and when it was over the two were awake and better and even on their feet the next day. A huge relief to all, especially Loren and Gyn.

Out at Rivercreek another little drama unfolded. Dixie learned that the runaway boy Jack had been hiding out in their stables and with a lot of effort, she was trying to convince him that he didn't have to hide, he was welcome to join them.

After Enzo had swallowed Lorne's wedding rings, he enlisted Petra to design and make him a new set. They were spectacular and he quickly rushed off to have a special engraving made inside each.

He also stunned 3Gun with a remark about anxiety over the plans for a bachelor party. He had forgotten that he was asked a while back to be best man and totally at sea (in the desert) he asked CG for help.

The women, of course, had no such problem. They piled in a wagon and went flower gathering and picnicking with Myna, dong all the things women do when they are preparing for an event.

Marshall Justice arrived in town early with regrets he couldn't stay for the wedding but his picked up his prisoner and left a gift of matching spurs for the bride and groom.

Loren had stressed a lot when AJ was ill. It seemed to be a pattern with him. Not his fault, just bad luck and she was tired of it all. She wanted to go away for a while, just the two of them and when he agreed she couldn't believe it.

AJ even suggested she take Pryce up on his offer and they would experience a different life together for a while. The deal was, they would return after a while, marry and settle down in Busted Gulch.

The long awaited edition of the newsprint appeared and it was a humdinger. Four big sections packed with news, advertising and the comics. There was even another edition of the Dish Rag included, this time by an anonymous writer, since Lou was away. CG had outdone herself this time.
