Synopsis.
In which Morpheus, Dream of the Endless, cold and bound by ancient laws, finds himself undone by a mortal princess named Ravenna—her soul too luminous, her voice too gentle for even Dream to resist. Though it is forbidden for one of the Endless to love a mortal, he breaks the law for her, again and again, only to lose her each time to a cruel curse: if she loves him back, she dies. Reborn without memory. Destined to repeat. Until grief carves surrender into him, and he walks away—loving her from a distance to save her life
