Cal opened his eyes and turned to see Merrin looking at him with concern and everyone else waiting behind her, Ezra immediately shot up from his chair, 

"Is she going to be alright? Are you alright?"

Cal chuckled and glanced at Nikki as he eyes slowly opened, 

"No, she's still alive, I think she's going to kill me right about now,"

Nikki immediately shot up and yelped as her arms immediately wrapped around her torso, 

"Oh mother fucker,"

Cal laughed, 

"I told you that you got stabbed,"

Nikki groaned and immediately raised her hand and Cal was pushed back and Merrin caught him before he fell, 

"Shut up, you Bogling,"

Merrin narrowed her eyes at her, 

"You have to lay back down. You just came back from dying,"

Nikki furrowed her eyebrows, 

"Hold up, Cal, you told me I was on the brink of death, not actually dead!"

Cal's eyes widened, 

"I didn't know you actually died. When did she die?"

Kix sighed, 

"Sora, you were dead for five minutes. Merrin and I tried to bring you back, but nothing worked,"

Cal's eyes widened, 

"So, I died too?"

Merrin nodded and hugged him, 

"You did. I told them to give you five more minutes in case you pulled something off,"

Cal slowly nodded, 

"Cool, check that off the list, Sora. Survived being literally dead for five minutes,"

Nikki groaned, 

"I would have made a great force ghost, too,"

A beeping was heard and the group looked to see R5-D4 coming in with BD-1 on his head beeping happily. Cal smiled softly as BD-1 climbed onto his shoulder, 

"Making friends?"

BD nodded and climbed onto Nikki's bed, and rested on her leg, 

"Hi bud, I missed you too,"

BD-1 beeped, and Nikki nodded, 

"Yes, more than Cal's company,"

Cal gasped, 

"BD!"

BD-1 beeped and nuzzled Nikki's hand as she smiled softly at him,

"I know, it must have been boring without me,"

Ahsoka tilted her head as she listened to the droid and human speak. R5-D4 rolled closer to the bed and beeped. Nikki looked at the droid, and she felt her heart swell as she recognized him,

"Hello,"

"You are Sora?"

Nikki nodded,

"Yes, I am Sora,"

"Bail Organa wants to speak to you,"

Nikki immediately winced at his name, 

"Oh, he's gonna kill me,"

Cal narrowed his eyes at her, 

"Who?"

Nikki waved her hand in dismissal, 

"Oh, don't get your poncho in a twist. Someone who told me to do exactly what I did not do-"

"So, everyone?"

Nikki glared at Cal,

"Hey! I do listen to some people,"

Merrin smirked, 

"I would be honored to meet those people,"

Nikki blushed and grumbled as she laid back down and nodded at R5, 

"Can you tell him to get in here and get the lecturing over?"

"Alright,"

Cal sighed, 

"I'm guessing we have to leave until after you are done?"

Nikki nodded, 

"Yes,"

Kix tapped a machine and nodded, 

"Alright, no getting up,"

Nikki nodded her head, and the group left. Bail entered the room with a deep frown on his face, 

"NIKKI MILLS!"

Nikki flinched at the volume of his yell, 

"Hi Bail-"

"Do you know the kind of risk you took?! You almost got killed! Obi-Wan called me to ask where you were because he felt you doing something entirely stupid! Nikki, you almost DIED! Hell! You did die! I can not lose another one of my friends, Nikki, not you,"

Nikki sighed and grabbed his hand, 

"Bail...I lost so much already...I wanted to try saving him...not only for me but also for Ahsoka...she doesn't know...does she?"

Bail sighed and shook his head, 

"I don't think she does...if she does, then she hasn't talked about it,"

Nikki nodded and slowly sat up. Bail helped her lean against the wall, and he sat down in the chair Cal was in,

"Nikki...what are you going to do?"

Nikki sighed and looked down at her arms wrapped around her torso, 

"You know...so many people have been asking me that ever since I came to this Universe...I don't know, Bail...I have no idea what I am supposed to do...I spent years training to become a Jedi Knight, and then I became a Jedi Master under Yoda. Then I spent years with Cal and Cere trying to rebuild the order, trying to fight the Inquisitors...then we branched off, and I spent a few months here and there fighting the Sith. Now...here I am...I failed to save Anakin Skywalker...I failed the one person I saw as a close friend. I saw him as a big brother...I failed to save Padme from her sorrows because I was off in Mandalore trying to find my biological siblings and a guy I loved. I don't think I'm a suitable protector for Leia and Luke, I'm sorry Bail...I think it's time I try finding my path elsewhere...without the force,"

Bail put his hand on her shoulder, 

"Nikki. You have fought too long to give up now. Tell Ahsoka who you are...tell the clones who you are...Don't hide anymore. I know I told you to hide for so long...but I was wrong,"

Nikki sighed and looked at him, 

"Bail...I don't think Ahsoka would ever forgive me for failing...He was her master,"

"Yes, but you are her sister. You two were inseparable during the Clone Wars. You helped her escape the Order with Anakin. You fought with her at the Seige of Mandalore before you were called back to fight with Obi-Wan. If she would ever forgive anyone, it is you."

Nikki looked down at her hands and looked at him, 

"H-How do I tell her?"

Bail smiled softly at her and squeezed her shoulder, 

"By showing her. What is one thing that anyone could identify you by?"

Nikki winced, 

"My scars,"

Bail nodded, 

"Yes, be proud of who you are, Nikki Mils, you are the youngest Jedi Master to ever live,"

"Am I, though?"

Bail rolled his eyes and patted his shoulder, 

"I'll get Ahsoka-"

"No,"

"No?"

Nikki nodded, 

"Get Kix in here,"

Bail sighed, 

"Alright,"

Nikki winced, 

"Oh, and tell Cal that he can't kill anyone, including threatening,"

Bail chuckled, 

"Alright, will I be able to get Kix in here?"

Nikki shrugged, 

"I'm done hiding,"

Bail nodded and left the room. Cal was immediately standing up and next to Bail in a heartbeat, and Bail raised his arm so Cal couldn't go in, 

"Wait,"

Cal frowned, 

"What?"

Bail smiled softly at him and looked at Kix, 

"Kix, go inside, Sora has a few things to tell you,"

Cal growled, 

"What are you doing?"

Bail smiled and patted his shoulder, 

"Sora is done running, Cal. You do not have to protect her here. She is one of my oldest friends, and I will protect her,"

Cal crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes, 

"S-"

Merrin immediately put a hand on his shoulder, 

"Cal,"

Cal sighed but let Merrin drag him back to his spot against the wall as they whispered to each other. Kix glanced at them before looking at Bail, 

"Sir, are you sure she wanted me?"

Bail chuckled and nodded, 

"Yes, I am positive,"

Kix nodded before he walked in to see Nikki against the wall. He rushed over to her and scolded, 

"You aren't supposed to be flexing your stomach! You just got stabbed by a lightsaber!"

Nikki chuckled and glanced at him, 

"How else would you change the wraps?"

Kix frowned, 

"You need the wraps changed? I'll go get C-"

Nikki immediately grabbed his arm, 

"I did ask for you, did I not?"

Kix slowly nodded, 

"Yes, but Cal told us that you hate anyone else putting wraps on you,"

Nikki nodded, 

"And I have a very specific reason for that. One that you will find out very quickly,"

Kix felt even more confused, but he nodded, 

"Alright, um...do you need help taking off your shirt?"

Nikki shook her head, 

"No, you get the wrap while I do,"

Kix nodded and turned to grab the wrap, 

"Alright, I j-"

He cut himself off when he turned around and saw Nikki taking off her wrap already, 

"H-Hey! You c-"

He cut himself off when he saw them. Every inch of skin was covered in scars. Most of them looked faded, but he could see a feint outline of the word 'Useless' on the inside of her bicep, he could see burn marks along her left ribcage. He saw the Bacta patch that covered the hole from the lightsaber. He felt the wrap fall from his hand as he stumbled back, 

"I-It c-can't be,"

Nikki winced, 

"Well, you gonna help me or stare?"

Kix shook his head as he slowly picked up the wrap and two new Bacta patches. He softly took off the patch that was already on the wound and grabbed a needle and thread to stitch it,

"How long?"

"How long what?"

Kix just shook his head and glanced at her, 

"How long were you going to wait until telling one of us?"

Nikki sighed, 

"I...I wasn't going to,"

Kix frowned as he placed the new Bacta patch over the stitched wound, 

"Why not?"

"I...I didn't know if I could trust any of you,"

Kix immediately pulled away from her and stood up. He looked at her with pain in his eyes, 

"Y-You thought that you couldn't trust us?!"

Nikki looked down at her hands, 

"Yeah,"

"But why?"

Nikki laughed and looked at him, 

"Seriously?! Why???"

Kix winced from her glare, 

"The one thing I did was put all my faith in you boys! Then, just like that, I was being shot down alongside my Master. I was shot down by Cody! He shot us off a mother fucking cliff! That day, I learned that my own brothers betrayed us, turned on us just like that. I knew Fives was right about the chips! That's why I got him out of jail! I told him to investigate it more, to see if there was a cure to the illness that the chip might give you. But, nope! You betrayed us! You betrayed me!"

Kix took a step closer to her, 

"Nikki, Fives did help us! He found Echo after Echo joined Clone Force 99. Then they found the rest of us after-"

"You aren't getting it. AFTER! After the Jedi were slaughtered!"

Kix sighed and grabbed her hands, 

"Nikki, we did not kill General Skywalker...he disappeared...then we heard Darth Vader killed him...us of the 501st did not betray our Jedi,"

Nikki felt her eyes start watering as she wiped them, 

"Ahsoka's company did. I thought for years that she was killed in that stupid ship. I saw the graveyard that she set up for them...I thought it wasn't her that did it...Don't talk about Anakin...please,"

Kix frowned in confusion, 

"Nikki? What happened to you?"

Nikki sighed and looked at him, 

"I grew up,"

Kix sighed and put his hand on her shoulder, 

"Kid, you were always an adult. You never had a childhood. So, what happened to you?"

Nikki sighed and fidgeted with her hands, 

"I felt them die...I felt the Jedi Masters, my friends, and some of you die."

"Some of us? We aren't force sensitive,"

Nikki looked at him and shrugged, 

"The force runs through all of us...just because you aren't force sensitive does not mean that the force is not in you."

Kix sighed,

"I'm sorry, I wish I was there for you,"

Nikki nodded her head, 

"I probably would have killed you,"

Kix shrugged, 

"Well, then I would have defended myself,"

Nikki smiled softly at him and nodded, 

"Honorable deaths,"

Kix nodded sadly, 

"I wish they all got that,"

Nikki nodded, 

"Me as well,"

Kix sighed and patted her shoulder, 

"Well, let's get you all mummified again,"

Nikki softly laughed and nodded, 

"Mummify me, doc,"

Kix smiled and softly wrapped her torso and some of her shoulders, just the way he did all those years ago. Nikki nodded and put her shirt back on, 

"Did Cal try to kill you?"

Kix winced, 

"Merrin saved my life,"

Nikki chuckled, 

"Yeah, she does tend to do that,"

Kix nodded, 

"Are you going to tell the others?"

Nikki sighed, 

"How do I?"

Kix smirked, 

"Start with R5,"

Nikki laughed, 

"You would have killed me if I told R5 before you,"

Kix smirked, 

"Exactly,"

Nikki laughed and nodded, 

"Alright, get him in here and stay here with me in case he tries to shock me,"

Kix nodded and immediately pressed a button, and R5-D4 rolled in, 

"Yes?"

Nikki smiled at him, 

"Hello, R5,"

R5-D4 stared at her, 

"How do you know my name?"

Nikki smirked and glanced at Kix, 

"Hey, doc, you believe this? I haven't forgotten him, and he forgot me! Some first droid he is,"

"NIKKI?!"

Nikki smiled and nodded, 

"Hello, old friend,"

R5-D4 immediately activated his shocker and flew up on the bed, 

"I OUGHTA KILL YOU RIGHT NOW!"

Nikki shrieked, and Kix immediately grabbed him and lifted him off the bed, 

"RELAX!"

"Relax?! RELAX! You had Ahsoka and I thinking you were dead for years! We mourned you!"

Nikki sighed, 

"Hey, hey! I thought you were both gone, too!"

R5-D4 finally calmed down and zapped Kix, and he yelped, 

"HEY!"

R5-D4 laughed, and Nikki sighed, 

"I really am sorry, R5,"

"Tell that to Ahsoka,"

Nikki winced, 

"How do I tell her?"

"Not my problem, just tell her,"

"Oh hey, Soka, yeah, it's me, Nikki! I survived the purge and I thought you were dead too so twinsies!"

Kix and R5-D4 stared at her, and she rolled her eyes, 

"Whatever, just help me up,"

Kix sighed, 

"And here I was thinking that you grew out of being stubborn when hurt,"

Nikki winked at him, 

"Some things will never change, Kix,"

Kix nodded, 

"Unfortunately,"

"Although you do look extremely old, like damn, you did not age well,"

"HEY!"

Nikki laughed, and Kix sighed and allowed her to put her weight on him until she finally let go of his arm, 

"See? Easy, no issues,"

"Hey, how did you get another lightsaber?"

Nikki shrugged, 

"It appeared to me on Tatooine,"

"Tatooine?"

Nikki nodded, 

"Yep!"

Kix sighed and slowly left the room. Ahsoka was the first to walk up to him, 

"Kix, is everything alright? Why did you ask R5 to go in?"

Rex nodded, 

"Did she push you or something?"

Kix shook his head, 

"No, but R5 did shock me again,"

Ahsoka sighed, 

"Okay, so nothing out of the ordinary,"

Nikki chuckled from behind Kix, and he stepped aside so they could see her with R5-D4 next to her, 

"So, you really are still shocking them, huh?"

"Yes, you should have seen me shock Rex to kidnap him to remove his chip while hiding from the rest of the clones,"

Ahsoka froze when R5-D4 told Nikki that information. Nikki crossed her arms and glanced at Rex, 

"So, she did have to remove his chip, huh, how did she find out?"

"Rex told us to find Fives in the database before he went all psycho on us. We found out what Fives did before he was able to run away with someone's help. I'm guessing you helped him? Anyways, we learned about the chip and figured out how to remove it, and bam, here we are,"

Nikki slowly nodded, 

"Yeah, I did help with the grand escape, lots of fun. I was never actually caught, although I think my master knew I did it,"

Ahsoka snapped out of her shock and took a step toward Nikki, 

"Impossible,"

Nikki smirked at her, 

"Hey, if I keep hearing that word being said every single time someone sees me, I think my ego is going to grow,"

Kix sighed, 

"I don't think it can,"

Nikki immediately slapped his arm, and he raised his hands in surrender. Ahsoka smiled softly and shook her head, 

"How?"

Nikki smirked, 

"Hey, can't let you have all the fun, right?"

Ahsoka laughed and immediately pulled her into a tight hug. Nikki gasped, 

"S-Soka I l-literally j-just came back from d-dying I can't b-breathe,"

Ahsoka let go of her, glared at her, and slapped her head, 

"OW!"

"DO YOU KNOW HOW WORRIED I WAS?!"

Nikki winced and nodded, 

"R5 already lectured me!"

Ahsoka grabbed her by the ear, and Nikki yelped, 

"Ow ow ow ear ear ear ear,"

"I thought you died!"

Nikki winced, 

"W-"

"NO! No speaking! You saw me and didn't even tell me your name!"

"I-"

"I am pissed at you!"

"B-"

"I THOUGHT YOU DIED!"

"Well-"

"No! I am yelling at you!"

Nikki winced and looked at Kix for help. He raised his hands in surrender, and she groaned, 

"Soka-"

"Nope! How dare you not tell me! I tried finding out what happened to you! I found out that you were reported as killed! You told me that you would be right back after you killed Grievous, but you never came back!"

Nikki sighed and put her hands on Ahsoka's shoulders as everyone watched in complete and utter shock,

"Soka, I thought you were killed in the crash. I saw the graveyard that you made for them. After the purge started and I found a way off the planet, I immediately went to Mandalore to find out what happened to you, Lui, and my siblings...Then I found out that they had been teleported back to Earth while I was still here. I'm sorry, Soka, but I thought you were dead too...I felt our force bond snap, and I thought that meant you were dead."

Ahsoka sighed and pulled her into another hug, 

"I'm so happy that you are alive, Vick,"

"Yeah, I'm happy you are alive too, Soka,"

Echo was the first one to snap out of his shock, 

"Nikki?"

Ahsoka let go of Nikki, and Echo immediately pulled her into a hug. Fives snuck away as he felt something in him snap as a memory plagued his thoughts. Wolffe was the next one next to her and knocked Echo back and carefully hugged her, 

"I'm glad you are alive, kid,"

Nikki rolled her eyes, 

"I'm not a kid anymore,"

Rex crossed his arms with a playful smirk on his face, 

"Nikki, you will always be our little sister. You barely grew,"

Nikki glared at him and walked up to him with her head tilted up to glare at him, 

"Listen, Grandpa, I got more experience than you now,"

Rex rolled his eyes, 

"Sure you do, Vod'ika,"

Nikki smiled softly at him and rolled her eyes. Cal and Merrin shared a look before watching as Nikki was surrounded by the clones. Cody barely looked her in the eye, 

"Did he survive?"

Nikki winced as she thought of what to say. Then she knew what to say, 

"He survived the fall with me...We escaped the planet together and then went our separate ways."

Cody looked down, 

"Look...Nikki-"

Nikki pulled him into a hug and sighed, 

"Let's talk later, yeah?"

Cody nodded, 

"Okay, yeah,"

Cal crossed his arms, and Merrin immediately put her hand on his shoulder. Nikki glanced over at the two, and Cal looked away from her. She felt her heart clench, but then they were interrupted by a familiar scream, 

"SORRRAAAAAA!"

Nikki quickly dodged the sprinting teenager, and he yelped as he crashed into Cody,

"Ow!"

Nikki laughed and crossed her arms, 

"Did we still fail to teach you manners?"

Astor rolled his eyes and quickly got off of Cody and helped him up, 

"Sorry, old man,"

Cody's jaw dropped, 

"I am not that old!"

Astor glanced him up and down before glancing around, 

"You look old enough to be my grandfather,"

Nikki gasped, and Cal laughed for the first time, 

"I knew we raised you right,"

Nikki slapped Cal and immediately grabbed Astor's ear, 

"OW! MY EAR!"

Nikki glared at Astor, 

"You apologize to that poor old man!"

Cody crossed his arms, 

"I am not that old,"

Astor stared at him, 

"You and that guy over there look like you were around for the time before the Republic, whatever that time was called, I forgot,"

Nikki slapped his head, and he yelped as Rex and Cody stared at him dumbfounded,

"WE ARE NOT THAT OLD!"

Nikki glared at Astor, 

"I told you to get your history down!"

Astor shrugged, 

"I got bored, and Cal let me train instead of r-"

Cal gasped, 

"Astor!"

Nikki raised her eyebrow with Merrin as the two women stared at Cal,

"Listen, Nikki, Merrin, I was-"

Merrin glared at him, 

"We told you that we wanted Astor to learn his history,"

Nikki nodded, 

"Yeah! I was forced through history lectures, and this is not even my history!"

Astor's eyes widened, and he looked around in shock, 

"Am I missing something?!"

Nikki laughed and wrapped her arm around the younger teenager, 

"Oh, yeah, you missed a chapter,"

Cal smirked, 

"That's what happens when you go off on your own,"

"Hey! I was looking for Nikki!"

Nikki chuckled and ruffled his hair, 

"Don't worry, I'm fine-"

"I thought you fought Vader. How is that fine?"

Nikki shrugged, 

"He only gave me a high five,"

Everyone stared at her in disbelief. Ezra glared at her, 

"You literally got stabbed???"

Nikki shrugged, 

"He forgot to use his hand. He used his lightsaber instead,"

"YOU GOT STABBED AGAIN?!"

"AGAIN?????!!!!!"

Nikki winced at Kix as he glared at her, 

"What does he mean again?"

Nikki shrugged, 

"Some people like greeting me with high-fives!"

Cal rolled his eyes, 

"Almost every single planet we went to together, you got stabbed,"

Nikki shrugged, 

"Hey! That shit on the Jedha was not my fucking fault!"

Merrin raised her eyebrow at her, 

"I heard you ask the trooper, what are you going to do, stab me?"

Sabine laughed, 

"You would fair well on Mandalore,"

Nikki shrugged, 

"I have yet to get stabbed by a Mandalorian, although I do think Bo-Katan thought about it,"

Ahsoka nodded, 

"She definitely did,"

Nikki smirked, 

"Ah, good times,"

Cal shook his head, 

"Let's g-"

Nikki looked at him and nodded her head at a small office room, 

"Cal,"

Cal sighed and nodded, 

"Alright,"

The two walked into the room, and Ahsoka looked at Merrin and Astor, 

"What is going on with those two?"

Astor crossed his arms, 

"Cal does not like trusting others. Nikki has trouble with her past. You can put two and two together,"

Merrin nodded, 

"They have had discussions in the past about what has transpired. Before Order 66 and after."

Astor sighed, 

"Yeah, kinda sucks having parents that act like they are divorced,"

That caused everyone to stop and stare at him as he casually leaned against the wall. Astor looked up after sensing eyes on him, 

"What?"

Kannan frowned, 

"You said that Nikki and Cal are your parents,"

Astor nodded, 

"They are, and also Merrin but-"

"Astor!"

Astor rolled his eyes and shrugged, 

"Merrin is my mom, too. Don't give me that look. You were there for the family talk we had,"

Merrin sighed and brought her hand up, and Astor sighed and shut his mouth. Merrin turned to the confused group,

"Astor was four when Nikki was given him to protect. We do not know why, but he is from Mandalore. She has been taking care of him ever since. Sometimes, if she was busy on a mission, she would leave him with his Uncle, or that is what she gave his uncle the title of. Then, when Cal and Nikki met again, she started taking Astor on the Mantis. That is when the three of us worked together to raise him,"

Astor smirked, 

"Uncle Boba is the best. I don't know what you are talking about. He lets me get away with anything,"

Merrin rolled her eyes, 

"Yes, that we know,"

Sabine smiled, 

"Do you know what clan?"

Astor sighed and shook his head, 

"No...Nikki was actually the one to name me. I don't know anything about my roots, but I was given this armor and my Beskar batons to remember that I am Mandalorian,"

Sabine nodded, 

"Are you a padawan?"

Kanan shook his head, 

"He is not,"

Astor stared at him, 

"How do you know?"

Kanan smirked, 

"You did not want to become a Jedi, I can tell,"

Ahsoka sighed and nodded, 

"Yes, you wish to stay the way you are,"

Astor nodded, 

"That is true,"

Rex smiled, 

"Well, welcome to the family, kid,"

Astor nodded, 

"Thanks, so are you like my grandfather or something?"

Echo laughed and Rex sighed,,

"No. Uncle,"

Astor shrugged, 

"Alrighhht,"
