"Uh.... I don't know... Green? No yellow... Pink??" You mutter rubbing your cheek and Smoker gives you a look. "I don't know! Why don't you pick the color?" You huff blushing.
"It's not my kitchen," He points out.
"You're living with me," You shoot back. He sighs and closes his eyes.
"How about... Light grey?" He suggests. You pause and shift.
"I like that..." You murmur. He relaxes and smiles a bit grabbing some food and putting it in the cart.
"How was your stay with Trafalgar?" He asks. You blush lightly and look ahead.
"It was... Different..." You murmur. You didn't tell Zoro but you had shared Law's bed with him every night until he said you were healed, you rather liked spending time with him, and how he gingerly took care of your wounds. However the day you left he was acting oddly, you didn't understand why, he just suddenly got really tense and practically shooed you out of the house.
You sigh and Smoker looks at you concerned. "I guess he got tired of me at the end, practically chased me out... You'll probably get tired of me too.." you murmur resting your chin on the cart handle. He blinks and frowns, knuckles brushing over your cheek.
"Don't be silly ___, your the highlight of my day most of the time, I'll never get tired of you." He murmurs softly. You blink and blush, meeting his brown gaze. You smile a bit and hug him.
"Heh... What if you're my key?" You ask.
"You have no idea how happy I would be." He muses hugging you tightly. You smile and pull back.
"What do you want for dinner?"
"You pick, I'm cooking." He rumbles.
"I can cook."
"You're not allowed."
"Why not?"
"Because the last time you said you would cook the kitchen caught on fire." He reminds you. You shift and rub your cheek, looking down.
"I told you Kid did that..."
"And because I've missed you and want to make you something good." He adds, tipping your chin.
"Alright Smoker you win." You blush pulling back. He smiles and nods releasing your chin before picking out some more food he knew you would like.

"Wow! This is yummy!" Luffy gushes eating cheerfully. You smile eating as well, looking to Smoker whom was frowning slightly at the additional company during the meal.
"This is good." Zoro agrees.
"Hey ___, how're your burns?" Kid inquires.
"They're good thanks to Law." You tell him and he makes a face.
"Did you really spend a week at that creeps house?" He asks. You frown at him.
"Law's not a creep, he's a good guy." You tell him, something in your voice makes him arch an eyebrow and back off.
"My bad, he just keeps to himself mostly so I was worried about you." He tries to soothe. You relax and blush.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to snap, a week ago I know I would've agreed with you... But... I would've been wrong." You murmur and focus on eating. You weren't aware of their gazes until Luffy spoke up.
"You really like him Huh? If you say he's a good guy I'll be his friend too." Luffy chimes. You pause and pale.
"Don't do that! He'll kill me if he finds out I'm telling everyone he's nice!" You gasp. Zoro chuckles at that.
"Are you more worried about that, or him finding out you've been talking about him?" Zoro teases.
"Shut up!" You squeak. "Kid was the one who brought him--" There's a knock at the door and you'll pause looking at each other. "Killer?" You ask Kid getting up.
"He's with his soul mate." He admits. You blink and go to the door, opening it and blushing at the sight of Law.
"Law?" You breathe in surprise.
"Hey Uh... You lift somethings at my place and I brought you a first aide kit..." He says handing you a bag and the kit.
"I'm not surprised I forgot something since you kinda chased me out." You comment quietly. He blinks and frowns.
"I'm sorry, you probably didn't care for that..." He rubs his cheek looking down. You blink and shift.
"Are you okay? Wanna come in for a bit?" You ask him. He meets your gaze.
"Yeah... Sure..." He breathes awkwardly. You smile a bit and move to the side, letting him slip in. He pauses blinking at the others. "I thought only the cop was moving in here?" He says smoothly, returning to his usual demeanor.
"They're here visiting," You point out. "Are you hungry Law? Smoker made some good food."
"I don't want to impose..." He starts.
"You might as well, this was supposed to before the two of us." Smoker says. Law blinks and chuckles lightly before going over and sitting down. You smile and take your bag and the kit to your room. You set it down on the bed and pause before pulling out a white teddy bear.
You blink feeling over the soft white fur. You smile a bit, he put this here as a discreet gift to you. You giggle softly and hug it smiling to yourself. After a few moments you put the bear down and head out.
"What did you giggle about?" Kid asks curiously.
"Nothing.." You hum going into the kitchen and grabbing a plate of cookies before returning and setting it down. "Here have some cookies guys, Smoker at least let me make that."
"You have been wanting cookies." Law hums eating.
"Mhm! But you wouldn't let me near the oven." You sit down grabbing a cookie.
"Because you burnt yourself again making breakfast the day before." He reminds you.
"Still..." You pout slightly.
"I offered to buy some but you insisted it wouldn't be the same." He adds.
"Well, you get your cookies now." Zoro chips in. You smile thoughtfully eating your cookie happily. Law peers at you before dropping his gaze as he finishes eating.
"Thank you for the meal.." He says getting up. You blink up at him and frown.
"Not staying?" You guess. He shakes his head and starts out.
"See you later, take care of yourself." He rumbles. Your shoulders droop watching him leave and you sigh quietly.
"For crying out loud..." Kid growls picking you up and walking outside with you. Law pauses and looks back, raising an eyebrow as Kid puts down and goes back inside locking the door.
"Wha- Kid!?" You shout confused.
"Come back later!"
"Preferably before sundown!" Zoro adds.
"What the hell!? You can't kick me out of my own house!" You bang on the door.
"It's for your own good!" Smoker pipes in.
"You too Smoker!?"
"Looks like there's no way around it..." Law's voice makes you pause and look back. He smirks.
"Let's go for a walk." He says. You blush slightly and smile giving a nod.
"Well, at least you're not acting weird." You murmur going over. He chuckles and guides you toward the outskirts of town.
"I don't know how you managed to get kicked out two seconds after I walked out, but I have to applaud you on it." He rumbles.
"I didn't do anything though..." You sigh rubbing your cheek.
"Hmm that is weird then." He hums. You glance at him and tilt your head slightly.
"Thank you for the polar bear, it's really cute." You smile. He pauses and glances at you, pink dusting his cheeks.
"Ah... Found that already did you?" He comments. You nod smiling and watching him curiously. "It was... Uh.. a whim..." He says looking away.
"Even so, it was sweet." You tell him. He glances at you before looking ahead and freezing suddenly pulling you into an alleyway and covering your mouth before you can ask what he was doing. You blink catching his uneasy expression as he held you closer from behind. You press back into him, catching the tense situation as a voice reaches your ear.
"Fufufu! How interesting! Are you sure our little heart has found his soulmate?" A voice asks.
"Yessir."
"Good... Capture them, I'll unlock the pendant and take their riches. If they put up too much of a fight, I'll make him watch me kill her." The voice laughs darkly. You pale gripping Law's hand in fear.
A few moments pass and Law releases you but you swiftly turn around and hug him shaking slightly. He blinks and hugs you close.
"Are you okay?" He murmurs softly.
"What was that? Do you know those people Law?" You ask peering up at him. He shifts meeting your gaze.
"Don't worry about it, you're safe." He murmurs softly.
"I'm scared though..." You whisper. He cups your cheek looking into your eyes.
"I won't let anything happen to you ___." He murmurs. You shift touching his hand.
"I'm scared because you are Law." You tell him. He blinks and blushes shifting his gaze at that. "Law... What are you hiding?"
