"Oh, look at this..." You test the water and smile. "A hot spring."

"That's rare, how lucky are we?" He chuckles as you both ease in and sigh. Its been two days since you were stranded, but you were both doing fine. Law insisted that you kept moving through the island in case whoever blew up the ship was looking for you and him.

It was fine really, plenty of fruit in the trees, a cold spring for fresh water, and now this hot spring. It was nice, perfect even. You had collected some fragrant plants to wash your clothes in later before you and Law would cuddle up for the night.

"I just had a thought... Your friends are probably searching for you all over the place." He comments.

"I'm surprised we haven't been found yet..." You agree. He moves closer to you.

"Is it selfish to say I'm kind of glad..." He whispers, knuckles brushing your chin. You meet his gaze as he blushes lightly with a small smile. "I like being alone with you like this." You blush lightly and he kisses you softly. You kiss back briefly before looking around.

"Me too, but I think I'm ready to go home now." You comment getting out. He follows you out and down another natural path. Soon the sweet scent of barbeque catches your nose and you and Law share a look. Your stomach growls and you both venture toward the scent, eventually coming across a cute little cabin.

"You see that too right?" Law huffs. You nod and start for the door despite Law's uneasy protest. You knock on the door, and after a few moments an elderly man opens the door.

"Why, hello, you two must be the ones on the news, come in. Lets get you nice and fed while I call the rescue team." He greets, ushering you both in. "My name's Rayleigh, which means you're ___ and Law right?" He guesses as you and Law sit down at the couch he gestured to.

"Yes sir," Law answers, hand slipping into yours. Rayleigh nods, bringing over some kabobs for you and Law to eat.

"I see... And I see you two are soulmates since the key and pendant aren't present." He comments sitting across from you both.

"We... Don't know yet... Her pendant is at the blacksmiths." Law admits.

"I.... Don't want to be told by a trinket who I have to love...." You state with a frown, surprising them. "I want to love who I choose because I can. Even if they're not the one I would like to experience why rather just say no because their key didn't fit.... We met a woman who's been around so much longer than us and never got to experience... It hurts..." You breathe touching over your heart. Law frowns softly pulling you into him.

"I see.... I never did agree with my family on that... I suppose it's time for a mass recall... Especially since I believe the Donquixote organization has been killing soulmates for the pendant treasure." Rayleigh says standing up and making some calls. You and Law look at him at that. Wait... Was he ...?

Rayleigh gets off the phone and gets a credit card out, handing it over to you. "Thanks for helping me make up my mind, please take this as thanks." He rumbles.

"You're taking away the pendants....?" You breathe.

"Yes. You may be with who ever you wish now. I hope you find the one you're meant to be with in the end." He winks.

"Thank you..." You sigh feeling truly relieved like the weight of finding your soulmate had been lifted.

You spent some more time with Rayleigh, chatting and relaxing more until a knock sounds at the door. Rayleigh smiles and goes over, answering it. Smoker, Zoro, Kid, and Luffy all push past and you and Law share a smile, rushing over and hugging them all. You were happy, and free too love whoever you wanted.
