Happy Happy Easter~
I once had a bunny.
An albino.
Her name was Shivers.
I got her at the local animal fair thing that takes place at the science spectrum every year.
I didn't have her very long, a few weeks, a month, I don't know. I stopped counting and my sense of time is warped.
But she was a good companion.
Shivers has a habit of eating my hair and escaping her cage when my family and I were out of the house.
I don't think I've ever seen her outside my room though, with the exception of when I took her out for it.
When she was still alive, I learned a decent amount about rabbits.
For example, albinos apparently have a weak immune system, so they're a little harder to take care of.
Rabbits may like carrots, but they aren't necessarily good for them either... Think of it like... Carrots are their candy? Or, at least that's what my mom explained it as.
Rabbits are skittish, sure, maybe a little scared half the time, but... Still friendly, and willing to cuddle.
I remember one morning, my mom took Shivers out of her cage and put her under my arm while I was sleeping. She was still there when I woke up, and she was very soft.
But most of all... Each rabbit is different and has their own unique thing- like everyone.
For Shivers, it was that she put up with my childish bullsh*t.
So thanks, Shivers.
Happy Easter.
