My ultimate response to literally anything when I want to end a conversation or a specific topic is "Have a nice day".

I compliment a lot of strangers when I go out, simple things like 'I like your shirt' or 'I like your tattoos' or 'Your nails are really pretty'. Stuff like that.

Usually, they say "thanks"; or sometimes they just ignore me. But then I say "Have a nice day" and go on with my day.
