The elements of your story I will be reviewing are mentioned below:

1) GENRES I ACCEPT

The genres I accept are- Mystery, Humour, Thriller, Horror, Fantasy, Action/Adventure, Sci-fi, Fan Fiction ( I'm not very comfortable with Werewolf or Vampire stories, but Marvel Fan fiction is welcome any day :D). No mature content can be submitted. Your story can be submitted only if it is strictly under one of these categories. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the rejection of your book. Stories must be in the English language.

2) BOOK COVER

Your book cover makes a huge impact on the reader. It is the deciding factor upon which the reader chooses whether he/she would pick up your book from a bookshelf or not. Your book cover will be the first element I will look at (literally!)

3) STORY DESCRIPTION

The story description of your book is what readers check first, to get the basic idea of the book. A good story description will include the important plot of the story with an introduction to a few main characters, but without any spoilers or long, boring, detailed paragraphs. It has to be short with the essence of the book thrown in.

4) FIRST FIVE CHAPTERS

The first five chapters of your book are what I will be critiquing. An effective use of language, gradual transition of the plot and grammatical efficiency is the key here. If I read the first six chapters and then feel that I absolutely HAVE to continue the book, consider yourself successful! :D

NOTE

The reviews of your books will be published as individual chapters in this book, one chapter per story submitted. For now, you can only submit one story, so make sure you really want that story to be critiqued. When (hopefully) this book gains recognition, I may extend the limit to three stories per user.

Once I have published your reviews as individual chapters in this book, they do not leave the Kitchen of Critiques, so I will not remove them even after I am requested, sorry. Once you are notified about your review being posted in the book, I expect some acknowledgement, atleast you seeing the review or commenting on your own chapter. Also,  if I find that your chapters are way longer than usual, I might be able to review only four chapters.

 The password is any term related to the Percy Jackson or Harry Potter universes. You might have to google them! ;)
