Luciana paced back and forth within her cubicle. A little tensed and a little excitement crept in her, finally she is in a close distance with her long time crush.

Diego has been Luciana's crush since school. Her being quiet and timid never made her visible to Diego's eyes then, unfortunately.

After knowing Ella, her senior in school, works in a recruitment company which helps both the companies Diego associated with, Luciana approached Ella to bring her closer to him.

A year after trying, getting a job in Agosti Firearms, one of the company Diego managing, excites her more.

It was almost lunch time and Diego was nowhere to be seen in the office. There wasn't any calls from him or message left that he won't be coming.

'Why isn't he here?'

As a secretary Luciana had all the right reasons to check on Diego if he will be  in the office for the day or not but there was also a little hesitation. Her heart beats rapidly just at the thought of making a call to her boss.

Her thought was broken by one of her colleague who tapped her shoulders asking about her lunch plan.

Luciana thought of Ella, maybe she can get Ella to Agosti's office so they could go lunch together.

Without a second thought, she dialled Ella's number.

"What on freaking earth happen to you?" Ella yelled in shock as Thomas opened Diego's room door for them to enter. 

Diego groaned tossing and turning on his bed. "I wish there was some kind of recorder to repeat the answer for your questions"he said struggling to sit straight.

"I have been repeating the same answer for god knows how many times"

Thomas walked in behind Ella "What happened, Diego? When did this happened?" he asked.

"Did those bad guys come after you?" Ella chipped in.

"Ohhh... why too many at a time" Diego covered his ears.

Thomas and Ella waited until Diego spoke again.

"This happened last night and no. Those bad guys did not do this. It was an accident. My mistake. I skipped the traffic signal" he said it in a go.

"Dumbass!" Ella sat on the edge of the bed  while Thomas sat on the couch by the window.

"What are you two doing here by the way?" Diego asked.

"To ask you some questions" Thomas looked at Ella and back to Diego.

Questions to where finding Ara would get a clearer direction once they find out who is actually passing the message. Thomas had mention that he can even set a few people following the suspect  once they know who it is. Security's influence. Ella's phone rang interrupting the interview that was about to begin. 

"Yeah" Ella answered the call once she was completely out of the room.

"Hello, Ella. Where are you? Do you mind joining for lunch with me?"

"Sorry Lu, I don't think I can. I'm in Diego's house, came to visit him" Ella stuck her tongue out and slapped her forehead for saying that... Now Luciana is going to be worried about Diego.

"What happened to him?" Luciana blurted.

"Nothing much. Its a small accident" 

"What?! Accident? I'm coming now" Ella heard the sound of papers ruffling and thing falling in the background.

"His fine" 

"No, I'm coming"

Knowing nothing can change an obstinate,  Ella remain quiet not attempting to stop her. 

"Hello?" Luciana called for Ella after not getting any reply.

"Yeah, alright as you wish. See you!" 

Ella walked back into the room. It was silent, she raised her eye brow as both of them looked at her as if she had interrupted them.

"What happened? All okay?" Diego sensed there was something off about Ella after the call, she looked annoyed. 

"Certo. Good news, Diego! Luciana is coming to visit you" a wide smile spread across her face as she announce the news. 

"What why?" certainly that was the last thing Diego wanted to happen, Luciana to visit him. 

"She cares for you and since I blurted out about your accident, she wants to see if  you are fine."

"Why didn't u tell her I'm fine"

Diego and Ella went on bickering on why Luciana should not come and why she should. Diego had noticed on her first day, how much Luciana blushed and was trying hard to concentrate on her work. If that continues, Diego is set to find another secretary sooner. 

On the other hand, Ella felt Luciana might be a good match for Diego but again 'if he isn't interested why should I push this matter further' she thought. Ella let the thought a side and concentrated on her argument. 

"Tell her, Diego isn't interested and if she wants to retain her job, she better concentrate on her job and not on me"

"Alright, alright," she smile and the reason why they were here struck her mind. Ella reacted immediately.

"Now you tell me to whom did you tell about Ara?" Ella had her hands wrapped on Diego's neck.

"Leave me you idiot!" Diego yelled at Ella, who had turn outrageous in a bit.

"Leave him Ella" Thomas pulled her away from him.

"Tell me!" she demanded, the fear that she had the night before turned into an uncontrollable anger. "Diego, did you tell about Ara to anyone else other than us?" She asked again.

The fact that Diego had told the news to Bernardo Moretti wasn't surprising, it was afterall the news about his best friend's daughter but that lead to another question. Both stared at Diego as they tried to get things into perspective.

"There were two more guys in the room when I told him about her"

Ella is always known for her impulsiveness and it was the main reason for why she and Diego gets into unreasonable arguments all the time. Now when Diego thought she was getting better controlling her impetuousness, it came back. Ella took the pillow that was under his right leg for support, she hit Diego with it. Thomas had to pull her away from the whining Diego.

"Whats wrong with her?" 

"You are going to cause me, my life Diego? I don't know about your father but the two mans could be the mans who spoke in the room last night. What if they have found about me yesterday? I'm sure they are going to look for me." Ella grumbled without letting any of the two men to interrupt her.

"Do you how hard last night was for me? I barely slept!" She threw the pillow on Diego and dropped on the edge of the bed.

"I'm going to die soon for no reason.... I haven't lived my life yet...." she cried and pick the pillow again, she covered her face.

The men heard light sniffles from under the pillow that eventually faded after some time. They left Ella to have her sleep while Thomas explained to Diego for her sudden outrage and impulsive act earlier was only because of fear that she went through last night. 

There was a long silence in the room until the door knocked. One of Diego's staff opened the door, Ella was on the bed tucked under the blanket while Diego and Thomas was talking softly on the couch at the corner of the room.

"There's someone here to meet miss Ella." Diego nodded and sent the staff off.

They called her a couple of times before she finally respond with a groan.

"Don't disturb" her voice muffled through the pillow.

"Wake up!" Diego snatch the pillow away from her face. 

"What?! I barely got sleep last night! Let me_" she was interject. 

"Luciana is here, talk to her and send her off from there. Don't bring her up, okay." Diego ordered.

Stumbling on her feet she stride down stairs.

"Lu! You are here" Ella approached the tensed Luciana at the living room.
Lucian looked behind Ella, hoping Diego might have followed Ella to meet her. Her smile faded realising Diego isn't going to come to meet his secretary anyway.

"Where is he and how is he doing?" 

"He is absolutely fine, Lu. He is upstairs with Thomas" Ella said.

Luciana felt helpless, she couldn't meet him nor did she had the courage to call him to ask for herself. 'Can Ella help me?' Luciana looked at Ella as she try to figure a way to get closer to Diego.

Both were now seated in the living room and was served tea by the Moretti's staff. Ella waited for Luciana to leave so she could get back to the duo and find who wants to kill Demetrio's assocciates. Who are the two unknown men.

Luciana spoke first breaking the silence. "Ella, I know this isn't the right place but I guess I can't meet you anytime soon with you being busy"

Ella waited for Luciana as the latter scanned the huge living room for privacy. She later spilled her desire for seeking help from Ella.

Ella only shook her head in negation as Luciana kept pestering about her desire. Ella had her limits for invading ones private life. To get Luciana into Diego's life even after him showing no interest isn't going to be healthy sign for her and Diego. Ella had refused to do any further help on that matter.

"I have done what I could do, Lu. Now, its your charm that has to help you get Diego, if you are destiny" Ella stood ending their conversation.

As Luciana was about leave however, Bernardo stopped the two girls.

After getting introduced to Agosti Firearms secretary, Bernardo admitted that he overheared their conversation. He seemed happy knowing Luciana's feeling for Diego. He was glad that his son would hace someone to care for him apart from his mother.

Ella felt terrible for getting herself involved into these matters, Ara-Demetrio and Diego-Luciana.

Matters that does not benefit her at all.
