It was at 11:06 am when the first kūki-chikyū mix was born. Most tuyapuan didn't accept such a bond between two kinds that belonged to two different of the three possible groups the planets population was split in. There were the kūki, which lived up in the sky, the first of three territories, the chikyūs, living on the middle territory, and the mizus that lived in the water. The father of this newborn was a sheep, the mother a raven. This tiny one had the ears and the tail of a lamb, while the black feathers on his arms proved that he was a raven as well. His father couldn't be there, when the little one was born, but he told his girlfriend that the child should be named Ama. The mother wanted to name him Schizu, which got him his name. Schizu Ama.

It was a very rainy morning on the planet Tuyapu, when the tiny raven-lamb woke up. The child rubbed the sleep out of its eyes, before it stood up. Next to the boy's bed was a little table. Onto it were some books, for which he seemed too young, and a pair of silver glasses that matched his pedrol eyes perfectly. He took those and put them on, as he was nearly blind without them, as his father had always said.
He had died a month ago through a bear attacking him. Those two kinds never really liked each other anyways, the bears and the sheep. At all times had the bears been aggressive in the tuyapuan history. The child put on his blue pullover, which matched his brown pants and orange sneakers. His room was in the attic, while his mother slept in the first floor, next to the living room and kitchen.
The tiny hybrid went down the stairs into the bathroom to go to the toilet and afterwards brush his teeth. His mother would help with his chocolate brown hair, as he didn't quite like brushing his hair and therefore wouldn't do it himself. His mother always managed to make it hurt less.
After everything he wanted to do was done, Schizu collected his hairbrush and wanted to go into the kitchen, where his mother would be to make some breakfast for him.
But today was different. His mom, who had been sick for the last few days, wasn't there. She laid in her bed and didn't move. Didn't breath. The raven-lamb began to cry, trying to wake his parent up. He didn't want to loose her as well. Only had he just lost his dad, his great dad who taught him his first word. The first word the raven had said was not 'mama' or 'dada', no.
It was 'Sizu'. His name in a real bad pronounciation, but it was good! The child was able to talk so much that he could communicate with the rest of the world through language. He was a quick-learner and was better than most of the children of each of his origin kinds. Other ravens learn speaking with two years and six month, the lamb with about two years and three months, but Schizu was able to do so with one and a half years.
He spoke his first word in that age, which was atleast nine months too early. Now he could say a few full sentences that were basics in a creatures life and he was learning how to read as well. A quick learning, curious kid that really wants to explore every single place they find and is interested in knowing everything.
He packed a backpack with his favourite clothes and his special books. His mom prepared him for this case, before she got sick. It was almost like she knew it would happen to her. She had always pointed at this bag, the books he had to take with him and a few clothes he should take.
She also showed him the orphanage he should go to. Schizu did not really understand it, but he understood what to do in what situation. His mom said that he should go their if she should not wake up anymore, even after trying everything to wake her up. It may seem a bit cruel, but all children are taught this row of pieces of information if one of the parents has died and they are old enough to understand what they should do.
Schizu Ama did with the age of two years and ten months. The kid put on his raincoat and pulled the hood up. Then he put the backpack onto his back and collected the keys for the house, just like the money his parents had. His mother had told him to.
What he couldn't have know in such a young age was that he just inherited a huge house and an ancient secret, which he was now responsible for. Schizu didn't even know what the word responsibility meant in this age.
As the kid went past his mothers body for probably the last time in his life, he noticed the feathers falling from her wings. A sign of the death of a kūki. The young creature didn't know this as well, but he picked up some feathers anyway to always remember his mother.
Tears still ran down his pale cheeks as he left the house. The wind was strong and the bridges of some islands he had to cross were neither stable nor wide. The ravenlamb was aware of the danger, but the house was one islands away from other houses of friendly birds. There was one house on the next island.
The ones living in it had died and eagles had moved in. They destroyed the bridge when they saw the kind of their neighbors. Eagles and ravens don't like each other, not since the eagles, which had claimed their territory in history, lost some islands to the ravens.
So the kid went towards the bridge, leading to a little uninhabited island, full of berry bushes, which was too tiny for a house or any other kind of building. The child still cried as he didn't that to happen.
As he came to the second bridge, he saw, that one of the side ropes had been ripped apart by the weather. He could see another person through the rain. They looked tall enough to be able to fly, so the little one called for help as loud as he could." Help!", he screamed. More he couldn't say for now.
The silhouette of the other came nearer to him. As they stood at the edge of the other island, Schizu could recognize some longer brown feathers. It was an owl." Owl! Help!", he yelled to the other side." It's dangerous for you outside, kid! Stay still! I'll try to save you!", they answered. It was clearly a woman.
Schizu saw how the owl opened its wings and got off the ground. It had to be careful through the wind, but she still tried to save the child. She had to fight against the wind truly. Schizu was scared and closed his eyes, scared to have done something wrong." Don't worry. I'm here.", he suddenly heard, as he felt wings being wrapped around him.
"Thanks help Owl.", he answered. It was his way to say thank you. It was a complete gramatically correct sentence but he tried." You're welcome. What are you doing outside little one?""Ehm..." The raven had to think. How should he answer that? He couldn't say something he didn't learn before, so he said the words he had heard from his mother after his father was suddenly gone.
" Dada gone. Mama gone.", he said, unsure if it was correct." An orphan...what's your name?", the woman responded a bit shocked. Surely it was a little strange that she met an around three year-old alone, which told her, that its parents were dead.
The ravenlamb looked at her face with his teal eyes. They were red and pretty swollen from crying. The child felt comforted by the somehow soft feathers of the elder bird." Schi... Schi... Schizu. Schizu Ama." The kid pronounced his name a little weird, as he said the name like the 'z' was a 's'.
" Schizu it is hm? Do you know how old you are?" Now the child knew what to say! His favourite question that his parents asked him. Surely they asked for his name as well, but the half-kūki always stuttered with his name." Schizu two years old.", he said." Oh my...a raven child speaking with two years? Where did you want to go?"" Ehm..."
The women sensed that the child was struggling to find an answer to her question. She knew where she would bring him for now. She would take him home to her four-year old twins and her husband.,, I'll take you with me for now. It is way too dangerous for you outside right now. Hold onto me tightly little one." And Schizu did.
