Schizu Ama felt safe while they flew over the gap together. His crying softened and then stopped as the owl had landed. She put Schizu down und took his left hand to reassure him that he was safe. The child pulled its hand back for a moment, as it was born having a fear of touch against strangers, especially when the touch comes suddenly without Schizu asking for it or touching someone himself.
He smiled and gave her his hand carefully." It's alright Schizu. I'll bring you to my home and then you can rest a little in our guestroom.", the woman told him:" I will get you where you should go in a few days. I just gotta check whether you are sick or exhausted or not. We have to go to your home as well. Do you know your birth date by any chance? When is your birthday?"
The tiny one just shook his head. He did not know his birthday." It's alright little black feathered. Oh, before you get scared later...I have two children, twins to be exact. They are four years old. Their names are Liu and Lia. A boy and a girl. They are both owls like me and my husband."
Schizu nodded while thinking. What was a husband now? He didn't really know this yet. Twins was also a weird word he did not understand. But he learned how to ask for such things. He only had to get the word out of his mouth correctly, which could be difficult at times, but he would manage this."What is hus- husband? What is t... twins?", he asked and looked at the owl.
"What an husband and twins are? Well little one I don't know if you'll understand that.", she said to the young one. He still looked her in the eyes, waiting. Schizu was waiting for an explanation. His curiosity had him wanting to know what those things were. Were it objects? People? Maybe even food? Could food be friendly? He did not know.
"If you want me to explain it that bad...I'll try to keep it simple." The owl had to say something as the glance the raven gave her showed her how happy he would be if she would explain. She was a mother and knew that look from her children as well.
The thing that was somehow still a bit unreal for her, was the fact that this kid should be two years old. For a raven in that age, it was really smart. It could walk upright, talk a little bit and was really curious. Normally this kind was not this...active in this age.
,, A husband is...well. It's a man, who made the promise to stay at the side of his wife for his whole life and to be loyal to her. The wife promises the same to her husband. They both do that at a special party, which is called a wedding. You understand?"" Husband.. Man. Promise. Wedding...", the tinier one mumbled.
Schizu let the explanation pass through his mind once again."Understood.", he answered while nodding. Then he saw something he had not seen before. It was a round thing, which was squeaking in a high tune. It had wings to and one of those looked hurt." 'Urt!", he said, stopping abruptly.
The woman needed a second to notice the creature which sat in a bush, which was a bit away from the road. It's wing didn't look good, that was true."Correct Schizu. This Blū is hurt. Can you get it out of the bush?", she asked him. The rain had become a bit lighter while they had been walking, but Ama only noticed now.
He had seen his mom trying to help a pigeon child once, so he tried imitating this behaviour his mom showed him indirectly. He walked nearer to the bush slowly, very slowly.
He didn't want to scare the blū, like the owl had called it before." Blū not worry.", he whispered, as he was near to it, carefully reaching out to the little hurt one, again moving slowly." Schi-Schizu not hurt Blū, but help."
The Blū accepted the help, as it jumped out of the bush, so the child could try carrying it carefully. Schizu put his hand next to the Blū, the other to the other side, before lifting it up lightly. The blū squeaked again, but this time in a lower tune than before.
As it was in his arms, he brought it towards the owl. She was somehow fascinated and worried at the same time. The height didn't really match a two year old raven as well, she noticed now. Raven were normally a little tinier in that age.
She was fascinated by the height and the knowledge of this kid, but worried that it had lost its memory when falling down somewhere or through anything else. She didn't have the opportunity to check him for any injuries yet.
"Are you hurt too Schizu?", she therefore asked the child, which seemed to analyse the creature on his arm."No. Schizu no 'urt. Blū 'urt!", he said."If that is so, we can go to my home and help the blū. Are you coming?", the adult meant and laid the right wing around Schizu, so he would stay near her.
" What is twins?", he then asked after looking at the creature for a while."The correct question is what are twins, my dear.", she corrected him:" Twins are two people that are the exact same age and have the same birthday. They can look like the other or a little different from eachother. They always have the same mother."
The raven mumbled again, but then nodded like he had understood, before he looked around a little more. The big market island was about to end and in that moment the owl remembered that she needed beeries for her family, so she took a turn.
"What owl do?", the kid asked:" Owl go home?""No, I have to buy some berries first for my children. Do you like berries?", the brown feathered answered.,, Berries! Blue?", the kid asked. It seemed to ask if it could have some.
"You want some blue ones? Sure." The woman had to giggle, as the child's smile was really sweet."You are gorgeous child. Do me a favor and keep your happiness.", she whispered more to herself, but Schizu heard it.
"Happiness? What is Happiness?", he asked again." Well...it is a feeling. You feel happy when you smile and laugh. When you have fun, then you have Happiness.", the owl responded while arriving at the berry store.
"Hello! 500 gramms of the red berries and 150 of the blue ones please.", she said and the raven listened closely. He wanted to learn how to buy things.
As the owl gave the pigeon the silver coins to pay for the berries Schizu remembered the little brown bag with some of these in his backpack as well. He decided not to mention it right now, as he wanted to ask what those silver things were.
" What those?", he asked, pointing at the coins the seller gave back to her."Those? This are coins to buy something. You never saw them?" The tinier one shook his head and just looked the little creature in his hands. It was shaking.
"Come on we have to go. The blū seems to be cold.", the woman said to him, before they went onto their way. Schizu was excited to see the husband and twins of his helper. Maybe they would show him how to treat the wing of his hurt friend.
As they arrived at the huge house of the four owls the rain had stopped completely and the ravenlamb became nervous. What if it was too much for him?
The house had three floors, counted by the rows of windows it had. In the upper floors was no light on, while in the first floor voices could be heard in the room that was at the left side of the door. The light was also on in this room.
The blū on his arm squeaked a bit fearful, which is the reason, why the owl turned around again. She had been searching her keys but now she looked at the raven infront of her.
"Are you scared? They don't bite. Neither my husband does nor my children do. Trust me Schizu okay? I know it is hard for you, but it will be alright. Just tell me if it is too much for you, alright?", the woman said and kneeled down to Schizu's height.
The child nodded, before the owl smiled at him. It somehow reassured him that it was okay to calm down. There was no need to be nervous for the little raven.
He took a deep breath and the owl had found the key finally. As she opened the now unlocked door, Schizu saw three owls.
