As the kid had finished eating, the owlwoman kneeled down to him and said:"Schizu? When were you awake last night? Was the moon still up or was it the sun?"
The ravenlamb thought a little bit about it and then answered:"I saw moon!" Ramuā nodded and began to explain:"You can't just go randomly into another room in the middle of the night, without returning to your bedroom afterwards. Else other people could get worried and think that you ran away and search for you. You don't go anywhere without telling an adult about it, alright?"
The kid nodded slowly to show that it had understood. In reality it was analysing the wings of the Kūki. He asked:" What is 'worry'? When I get wings?" Now the woman was a bit surprised by the second question. The kind had no wings that was true, but a kid of his age normally didn't ask such a thing. The other questions were okay for a curious child like he was.
"You will get wings when you turn three years old, but you will be able to fly with ten years as a minimum. Worry is a feeling my dear, like happiness. Worry is more a negative kind of feeling and the person that is worried, feels that a person is sick or a person of their friends or relatives has just disappeared."
The kid nodded once again and then stood up, before he hugged the owl."Sowy for wowy Ramuā.""It's alright. Get ready because we are going to your house today. We still need more of your things and I need more data, like your birthdate or the names, as well as death cause, of your parents.", she replied.
Schizu nodded and put on his shoes, just like his jacket, before he gave the blū to Dolui and the twins. He gave Ramuā his hand, before she went outside with him.
Today the sun was shining and no clouds could be seen. Still, it was cold, because the blue sun was here at the moment and the orange one would come back in a few months. Then it would become warmer again.
Schizu was a bit scared of having to see his mothers body once again. He wanted to warn the owl amd said quietly:"Mama sleep live room.""What did you just say?", she asked him now. He had been too quiet for her to hear. So he repeated the said words once again, this time louder.
"In the living room, hm?", the woman said:" How about this...you go up to your room and pack your remaining things, while I search for the things I need from your house. Is that okay for you?" The child nodded.
As they arrived at the house, Schizu went into his room, like Ramuā told him to. He grabbed his plushie raven, as well as his plushie sheep.
His favourite books were already with him, but he wanted to get more picture books and then he saw that he had forgotten one book of the ones his mother had told him to take with him.
It was a book that had those symbols on it, which he saw on the doors at the owl's home, and was bloodred. It was always really tiny. Thee was note left on it. It showed his jacket pocket. The kid understood instantly.
A second note was sticked to the cover of the book. It told him to let no one see what is in the book. So the symbols written into it were only for his eyes to see. Schizu understood it to.
He somehow understood what those tiny notes meant, before he took them off of the bookcover and put it into his jacket pocket. He threw the notes under his bed and collected other things.
He somehow sensed that he wouldn't be able to come back for a longer period of time. This all felt so unreal. This was his home! Why does HE have to leave it, if it is HIS home? This somehow felt unfair to the brownhaired.
Schizu wanted to ask Ramuā about it, so he would get an explanation why he had to leave his home, where nearly all of his memories were made, where he lived for this whole time.
As he made his way downstairs, he grabbed a shoulder bag of his mother, to store his things into it. The moment he found the owl, he asked her directly:" Why I have to go?" Ramuā was confused, because this was, once again, a weird question for a two year old and she did not know what to answer at first.
"What do you mean?", she wanted to know:" Is it why you have to go to another place, eventhough this is home to you?" Schizu answered:"This home! Why I have to leave?"
Ramuā sighed as she replied:"Well...you know Schizu...you are simply too young to live in a house all by yourself. You can't fly yet and you can barely speak. Who should buy food and ressources? Who should play with you? Who should take care of you? If you need money, who will work for it? You are too young for such a thing. In about 12 to 16 years this would be possible, but now? You are only two years and a toddler with that. You can't take care of yourself and as you do not have any relatives as it seems, you must be taken to an orphanage or live with someone nice."
Ama processed this and had many questions for the woman. He directly started askind them." What is responsible? What is toddler? How long 12 to 16 years? What is an orphanage?" The owl sighed once again. She thought about the explanations while going into the kitchen.
Schizu followed her, still waiting for an answer. He still couldn't resist taking some more of the beautiful black feather of his mother with him. His mother was gone, there was just an empty couch now.
"Where mama?", he added to his questions." Your mother? She is in a better place now young one. To your other questions..." She paused for a little moment."...a toddler is a tiny child that is 1 to 9 years old. An orphanage is a place where adults take care of children that are too young to live alone and don't have anyone to take care of them. Responsibility is a difficult word to explain."
The woman stopped for a second and seemed to figure out and explanation for the other two questions. Then she seemed to have found one:"Being responsible, is when you take care of something or you admit that you did something bad, then you take the responsibility for this thing or creature. The last question's answer is that 12 to 16 years is still a pretty long time. You will have to stay in the orphanage for this period of time, as you can only leave there when you are mature enough to take care of yourself."
"What is mature?" The owl smiled at the kid. He was really curious, as she had noticed before."Well..if you are mature, then you having fully developed mentally, meaning with thoughts and feelings, just like physically, meaning to be fully grown and having fully grown wings. It is mostly reached with an age of 14 to 20, depending on the person themself, you understood?"
The kid had to process the said words once again, before he nodded slowly. "Understood.", he said to make sure that the owl had noticed that he did. After they collected some other things that they needed, they left the house. Schizu said loudly as they left:" Bye house! I come back when I am 14! I promise!"
The owl giggled over this. This child was too sweet and innocent for this world. At home she sent her children and Schizu upstairs to play a little bit together while she would go through the documents, which she brought, with her husband.
She gave him a half of them to look through for any necessary information, while she read through the rest of the paper. Dolui found the first information that could be really relevant. The exact birthdate of Schizu and with that the names of his parents." His parents are Teamvi and Felīu. Schizu was born on the 12th of April in 11587.", he told his wife. Ramuā had just found the death certificate of Felīu."Felīu was a sheep, who died at the 10th of January of this year from a bear attack. He died in the age of 35 years and his birthdate was the 15th of July 11554. That is not really old to be honest."
"You're right. That must've roughed Teamvi up quite a bit, just like Schizu.", Dolui replied and looked at the birthcertificate of the young raven. He felt really sorry for the child, he had felt like that since the ravenlamb had arrived here and his wife had told him about his situation. Such a poor child.
