Okay, so in every Maze Runner book I've read Alby is the leader. But, Alby only became leader after Chuck came up. He said Thomas was the first Greenie since Nick was killed so Alby had only recently become leader. I woul appreciate it if everybody who reads this passes the message along that if you write a fanfic that takes place before Chuck comes, than Nick needs to be the leader.
