Rules
Unfortunately, there are always rules to follow. I promise to make them as fair as possible.
PARTICIPANTS:
1. Follow this account. You're allowed to unfollow as soon as the awards are over. I'll be making announcements of delays or urgent news through this account. You do not need to follow ray_of_sunshine9 (unless you really want to?) because all announcements will be made on this profile.
2. Be respectful. Not just to me, but to the judges and the participants. We are all about having a good time here.
3. No bribing. You won't know who your specific judges are anyways, but don't even bother trying your luck.
4. You may only submit one short story per month. I mean, you have ten days. Use those ten days to polish up the one you are writing.
5. Your book must be written in English. Sorry. Google Translate and I had a massive argument over the weekend. I can't believe they thought it would be funny to propose to my best friend.
6. Add this book to your library. That way, you will be alerted every time I update a chapter and announce the wonderful, wonderful winners.
7. Please do not submit erotica. Sorry?
8. If you change the title of your story or your penname, let us know IMMEDIATELY. Just do it. Please.
9. Make sure your story actually represents the theme for the month. I mean, otherwise, where's the fun? I want to see those toenails that taste like celery!
JUDGES:
1. Follow this account. You're allowed to unfollow as soon as the awards are over. I'll be making announcements of delays or urgent news through this account. You do not need to follow ray_of_sunshine9 (unless you really want to?), as all important announcements will be made here. Don't worry - we follow you back!
2. Read the deadlines and make sure you agree to them. If you cannot submit the judging on time, then we will have problems. Also, you cannot judge and participate simultaneously - but feel free to be a participant next month!
3. Don't accept bribes. Please. And, if you do catch someone attempting to bribe you, let me know immediately.
4. If you cannot submit judging on time, let me know by the 22nd of the month. That way, I can scurry around, panic, cry, and then organise another judge or judge the book myself. We do understand that you have lives outside Wattpad, but we also need you to understand your commitment to these awards.
5. If you are judging, you cannot submit a short story in the same month. There will only be one pool, so we can't have people who are both judging and participating.
