Bianca stood quietly after the ritual had been completed tears in her eyes wondering why the man had taken her from her family who clearly loved and adored her and her twin brother Blaise.

Mia immediately wrapped her arms around her friend and hugged her tightly seeing the tears falling down her face. "It's okay B... he will not get away with everything that he's done to us, Aunt Aster and Uncle Reggie won't let him."

Aster laid a hand on her shoulder, "Mia is right Bianca, we won't let him get away with this... any of it, it might take a while for everything to come together but in the end he will get what he deserves." The three stood there a few moments more Bianca processing all of the emotions she felt and preparing herself a little to meet her mother and brother for the first time since she was two years old.

Bianca blew out a breath and looked at the other two, "I'm ready to go back in there now." Mia hugged her tightly again before letting go but she still held onto her arm letting the other girl know that she was there with her. Which Bianca appreciated.

They made their way back into the office where Reggie was talking to Francesca and Blaise, he had explained a little more to the two while they waited on the others to return. Blaise looked to the door as it opened and there was a hopeful look in his eyes as they locked with his twin sisters. Both tearing up as the eight year old ran toward him and they hugged, making Mia smile.

Francesca teared up as well as she hugged both of her children, this was a moment that she thought she would never get to have both her babies together in a room with her.

The older Italian woman smiled softly at her daughter as she spoke, "Reg was telling me about your mutation... it's something that you got from your father, he had the gene but never activated it, but his mother was a mutant and a witch so he knew he had the x gene."

Bianca was surprised to hear that but Blaise smiled as he excitedly said, "I've got it too and activated as well, just recently too mum was thinking about sending me to that school for mutant kids to learn to control it better."

Mia smiled watching her friend bond with her mother and brother, "that's awesome because that is where we go as well, it's a great place." Francesca looked at Mia.

"You're Mia Potter, correct?"

"Well Mia Potter-Black but yes... I'm assuming Uncle Reggie has explained things just a little bit anyway?"

"Yes he's spoken on how close you and Bianca have become and was telling more about the school the two of you attend which I was previously thinking of enrolling Blaise as he said."

"It would be a great idea." Aster agreed. "We haven't been properly introduced yet, Aster Black. Reggie's wife." Francesca smiled at the red haired woman.

After they left Gringotts, Reggie decided to bring Blaise and Francesca to the school so she could really decide if she wanted to send Blaise there as well. The three eight year olds got along really well as soon as they started hanging out. Mia and Bianca showed Blaise around the school while their mother spoke to Charles about enrolling her son there to help him learn to control his mutation.

And by the end she had decided that she would enroll him. Which made Mia and Bianca happy because that meant that Bianca would get to stay, but also re-bond with her twin brother as well.

Saturday had rolled around and it was time for Sirius' trail Mia had wanted to go but Reggie reasoned with her that it would be too dangerous that she might be recognized by Dumbledore and it would raise a whole lot of issues but he promised that she would be the first to see her godfather once they arrived back at the school.

Which made her agree, so Mia planned to spend the day with Blaise and Bianca, instead while they waited for Reggie to return.

Reggie had placed several glamours on himself so that he would not be noticed at the trail, only Amelia and Andromeda knew what he would look like. He arrived a half hour before the trail was to take place and spoke quietly to Amelia, "I want this trail front page on the Daily Prophet tomorrow morning... use whatever string you need to pull to make that happen please Amelia."

"Of course but why?"

"I am going to use it to draw Remus and Marlene out, convince them to join our side, after Sirius' innocence has been proven."

The woman nodded, "I'll make sure it's plastered on the front page of every magical newspaper that I call pull."

Regulus smiled at the strict but fair woman, "thank you Amelia." after walking away from Amelia he approached Andy, "are you ready for this Andy?"

She nodded, "I am, I've spoken to Amelia and explained that I am to be Sirius' medical proxy and will be taking him into my care after he's released."

"Good."

It was finally time for the trail to start and everyone was ushered into the Wizgamont meeting room which doubled as a courtroom for trials. "Everyone please have a seat, Madam Bones will be leading this meeting as I am unaware of why this emergency meeting has been called." Dumbledore spoke as Chief Warlock.

That caused murmurs to be heard from around the room as Amelia took her place standing in front of the members of the Wizgamont. "Thank you Mr. Dumbledore, I have called this emergency meeting of the Wizgamont because I have been made aware by an anonymous tip, that eight years ago, a man, a Lord of one of the ancient and noble houses was thrown into Azkaban for a crime that he did not commit, and this meeting is to rectify that mistake... so we are gathered here this afternoon to see Sirius Black receive a trial for the things that he was accused of eight years ago, since he was never given one in the first place."

That caused a few outraged gasps that a Lord of an Ancient and Noble house was just thrown into Azkaban with no trial to prove that he belonged there and a few people who were more radical followers of the light thought he was exactly where he deserved to be.

"QUIET!" Amelia demanded their attention.

Dumbledore paled slightly, this was not working the way he had planned, "Well Madam Bones clearly there must be some mistake because Sirius Black was the Potter's secret keeper which means that he indeed betrayed them."

"Well Mr. Dumbledore, the letter I received came with an official Gringotts seal meaning that it came from the goblins, which means whoever wrote it consulted them and they've somehow proved that Mr. Black was falsely imprisoned." She pulled out the letter that Regulus had Darkfang send Amelia for this exact purpose. And she passed it around for everyone to read, showing the Gringotts stamp of authenticity.

Dumbledore was fuming now but he hid it well, Regulus smirked as he was paying attention to Dumbledore while all of this was happening. Loud murmurs once again broke out and Amelia quickly got the attention back on her and proceeded with her argument. For a few more moments before she called two Aurors to bring the prisoner in.

Regulus cringed unnoticeably at how bad his brother looked, he was so thin that his black and white Azkaban uniform barely stayed on his frame and his hair and was greasy and limp and he just looked altogether broken, but there was a single spark in his dull Gray eyes and Reggie just knew that it was something to do with his goddaughter.

Madam Bones, spoke to Sirius, "Sirius Black you are here today to determine if you are rightfully guilty of causing the deaths of Lord and Lady Potter, Peter Pettigrew and 13 muggles. Do you permit the use of Veritaserum Mr. Black?" the woman's tone was stern.

"Yes." he said with no hesitation, his voice was scratchy, a tell-tell sign that he hadn't spoken in quite some time. But now there was a spark of hope in his eye, hope that he would finally be able to be free and find his goddaughter.

The potion was fetched along with a glass of water for Sirius, he drank the water first and then three drops of the potion were placed on his tongue and his eyes became cloudy as it took effect. "What is your name?"

"Sirius Orion Black III."

"What is your date of birth?"

"November 3rd, 1959."

"Okay the potion is working, let us begin the questioning..." and so Amelia Bones questioned Sirius about the night James and Lily died. "On the night of October 31st, 1981, were you responsible for telling the dark lord, James, Lily and Mia Potter's location?"

And monotonously he told her and the courtroom everything, "No, originally I was going to be the secret keeper but I convinced James to change it last minute to throw everyone off because it would have been obvious that they would have chosen me to be the secret keeper, with how close James and I were."

"Who was made the secret keeper?"

"Peter Pettigrew... he sold them out to Voldemort, he betrayed them that night not me, I went after him, to find out why he betrayed them after everything James and his family had done for him, how he could just sell them out like that... I found Peter and was only going to talk to him, but he killed the 13 muggles with the explosion and then used the distraction to turn into a rat cutting off his finger in the process and he disappeared... faking his death."

Amelia looked at him. "He turned into a rat?"

"Yes he is an unregistered Animagus, and his form is a rat... should have been the most obvious sign that he couldn't be trusted."

The trail continued with Amelia asking Sirius questions and him answering them. The trial lasted two hours before Amelia felt that she had asked all of the relevant questions. "All right I believe that this will conclude the trial, all of those in favor of a guilty verdict please light up your wands." there was only one person that lit their wand up, one Delores Umbridge. "All right now all those in favor of an innocent verdict please light your wands." Everyone else lit their wands up for the innocent verdict. "Well that settles it then," the antidote to the potion was administered, "Sirius Black you are hereby found innocent of all charges against you, and we at the Ministry are very sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused you and you will be compensated, 3,000 galleons for every year you've spent in Azkaban... now you will be released into the care of your medical proxy who has set up a special location for you to heal from the trauma you've suffered at the hands of the dementors.'' There was a confused look on the man's face about the whole medical proxy thing but he knew better than to question it.

Regulus smirked things were going exactly the way they had planned for them too. He slipped out of the room and stood near Andy, as Amelia led Sirius towards them, Andy smiled, "hello cousin."

Sirius gave his cousin a slightly confused look, "Andy... you're my medical proxy I suppose?"

Andy nodded at him "Correct, now if you follow us we will be getting you the proper medical attention that you require."

Reggie led the way though Sirius didn't recognize him at the moment due to the glamor he was wearing, "follow my lead," he spoke to Andy, knowing that she would be holding onto to his brother. "Xavier's School for Gifted Youngster's Medical Bay." Charles had connected the fireplace in the med bay to the Floo network for this reason alone.

Aster stood in the med bay waiting as her husband stepped through and Andy and Sirius right behind him. Aster ushered the two toward the bed that was set up for them and Andy made Sirius sit down so that she could run the proper scans to know what potions she needed to get him on to start the healing process.

Reggie then removed the glamor and kissed his wife, "go and get Mia my love, I did promise she could be the first to see him when we returned." Aster nodded and left the room.

"Thank you again Andy." Reggie spoke after she had finished her scans on his brother.

She smiled looking at him, "of course after finding out everything I have it was my pleasure to help out in whatever way I could."

Andy stepped out of the way and Sirius saw the man that she was speaking to and his eyes widened. "Regulus?"

"Hello brother." Reggie said.

Sirius was looking at his little brother with a confused expression "But how? You died, it said so on the tapestry..."

"It is a long story Sirius but before we get into that there is someone here that really wants to meet you." Sirius furrowed his brow at that wondering who it could be.

A moment later the doors slid open and Mia came bouncing in the room excitedly, a laughing Aster coming in behind her "Mia darling slow down a bit."

"But Aunt Aster, I'm meeting my godfather for the first time since I was a baby... I can't help it!"

Reggie laughed, catching his brother off guard as he turned toward the voices, "Petite étoile... calm down please, we've been through a lot today... keep that in mind." Sirius was looking between the two a confused look on his face still wondering who this girl was and why his brother called her little star.

"Sorry, Uncle Reggie." The green haired, green eyed eight year old came to a stop beside her uncle who ruffled her hair slightly, making her pout at him.

Sirius looked the girl over and gasped, he recognized those green eyes, "Mia?" his confusion was at an all time high now, why was his goddaughter here with his brother wherever they were.

She smiled softly at him, "you recognized me?" She was surprised since she had been a baby the last time he saw her.

Sirius couldn't help but smile at his goddaughter, "Of course I did pup..." he opened his arms and the girl walked into them hugging her godfather, he hugged her tightly not enough to hurt her though. Aster and Reggie smiled at the sight knowing that they had come a long way with Mia in just the few short months that she had been under their care.

Andromeda was watching, a little confused since Reggie didn't tell her about Mia and all that. "Reg... what didn't you tell me during our little meeting?"

The man looked at his cousin, "I told you everything that was relevant at the time." She nodded at him, "but Andy, allow me to introduce you to my lovely wife, Aster and that is our niece Euphemia Lilith Potter-Black... the heiress to the house of Black and future Lady of the House of Potter."

Andy furrowed her brow, "you named her your Heiress?"

"Indeed, I also blood adopted her..."

Mia grinned hearing her uncle Reggie explaining things to Andy, "yeah and agreeing to the blood adoption was the best decision that I ever agreed to, and it's only been like a month and a half... but Aunt Aster and Uncle Reggie are the best."

Aster smiled at the child, "why don't you go and find Bianca and Blaise and let us adults talk for a little while and you can come back and see Sirius later."

"Okay..." then she excitedly skipped out of the room to find her two friends.

Leaving the four adults alone in the med bay, "if you had seen her a month and a half ago, you would not have recognized her now, she was very different, more closed off, less trusting."

Aster nodded, "it took us at least three weeks to get her to trust us, to open up a little." she clenched her jaw at the thoughts of everything that Petunia and her horrid husband had done to Mia, "she was not in a safe environment for a child of magical origins... I swear if I ever see that bitches ugly face again and it's on fucking sight."

Sirius and Andy both were confused, but Andy was the one to speak up first, "okay can we go back to the beginning a little here? Why is Mia Potter here, wherever here is?"

Aster and Reggie shared a look, having a silent conversation with their eyes, before Reggie spoke, "okay so a month and a half ago my father-in-law, Aster's father was out in London and found Mia sitting on a bus stop bench soaked to the bone because it was pouring down rain that night..." Then he proceeded to tell the two of them everything that was relevant to why Mia was there and how they had come to the decision that he would blood adopt her and name her the heiress to the house of Black.

Sirius was fuming at hearing everything that his goddaughter had suffered through and for once was thankful for something that his brother had done... "That leads me to the second part." Reggie looked at Sirius, "after you've recuperated a little, trip to Gringotts is in order."

Sirius was confused, "why?"

"Because it's likely that you've had compulsion and or blocks placed on you and we need to get those removed... This was only the second step of our plan but before I say anything more you'll need to be cleansed... after dinner tonight you can talk to Mia some more, she was excited to meet you as you can tell."

Sirius nodded, still rather confused but would save the questions and everything for later because he was getting rather tired from all the excitement of the day, Andy said she would return tomorrow with all the potions that he would need to take daily to help with the healing process, she had given him a few starter doses and then she left.

"If you would like to rest for a bit you'll be staying in this room for at least a couple of weeks but feel free to explore whenever you feel up to it, and I will come and get you for dinner." Regulus explained and Sirius nodded and the couple left him to rest for a while.

IDK what Blaise' mutation is yet lmao but he's got one since his twin sister does as well.

Remus and Marlene make their first appearance in the next chapter. I've decided that I am pairing Sirius with Marlene, and Remus with someone else idk whether it will be a magical creature/witch or mutant yet but will most likely be an OC.

I have no experience writing poly relationships so I don't want to misrepresent anything which is why I've changed it from Wolfstar x Marlene as the pairing to Sirius x Marlene and Remus x whoever I decide on.
