Hi lovelies,

I'm excited to bring you my next writing venture in the vein of Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot sleuthing but with my goofy humour, and interpretation of what a whodunnit story.

For the first time (EVER! I seem to have a lot of first times...) I worked from an outline as best I could. Those of you who have followed my journey on Wattpad know I'm a pantser, so you know I've never worked with an outline before. Part of me was avidly aware that I could screw it up, or freeze. But I had a wonderful editor by my side, guiding me and making sure I didn't sink this boat. 

FYI: this crime-caper/cosy mystery is the first crime story I've written. I was excited to explore the dynamic between my older Nepali female MC, wearing the grouchy pants, Devi Dhungel, and her spunky Latin LI — Hector Juan Martinez — who has a lot of love to give but will she let him? And I hope I've done a good job. 

Hector is partly inspired by my own real-life LI. (Don't tell him.)
