The Second Draft

A year and a half after Errol confessed his feelings for him, Alasdair has finally gathered his courage and moved to Edinburgh to follow his dream of studying creative writing. But more importantly, he hopes to reconnect with his best friend.

Errol welcomes him back into his life, but Alasdair struggles with the familiar but new dynamic of their friendship. Guilt over Errol's past pain mixes with frustration and sadness over that Errol doesn't let him in completely. And to top it off, Alasdair fears he isn't the most important person in Errol's life anymore, something which makes him feel worse than he knows it should.
