Lisa's POV

We are having breakfast when I receive a call from my girlfriend.

Yeah, I'm not straight.

I don't know why but my heart beats for girls only.

My smile widens.

"Excuse me." I excuse myself to Rosé and Dr. Park.

"Hey, love!" I greeted her.

"Oh love finally! Damn, I thought something happened to you again. Rosé texted me that Luca is coming out this time." Yes, she knows about my personality.

"Yeah, don't be like Chaeyounga okay? Stop worrying. You're busy with your solo right? I don't want to disturb you Love." I said can't stop myself from smiling.

She's a K-pop idol.

And of course, no one knows that she's in a relationship with me.

We're both girls, aside from that.

I'm not a normal person.
But despite all that, she loved and accepted me.

"Love, I need to go. Please take care of yourself okay?" She said hurriedly.

I was about to answer her when the beep sound took place.

"I love you," I whispered though I knew she wouldn't hear it.

"Are you done?" I averted my gaze to Rosé.

She looks pissed off.

"Yeah, why are you staring at me like you will kill me anytime?" I chuckled.

The chipmunk just rolled her eyes.

"Damn, you're asking? You just left your food there monkey, it's almost time for your med." She answered.

I was just shaking my head while laughing at her.

She's a nagger friend.

"I'm coming okay? No need to nag." I walked towards her and pinched her cheeks.

"You're going with me today right?" I asked her after I took the med.

"Yes, I missed Tita Beth."

She's referring to my Mom.

My mom was in the private room in the hospital where Dr. Park works.

He's also the doctor of my mom.

My mom killed my Dad, maybe because she can't take it anymore.

She can't take to see my Dad hurting me.

And so, after that, my mom didn't talk again... For damn 7 years.

Even to me.

I missed her so bad.

I want her to know that it's okay, that I'm not holding any hatred with her.

I want her to come back to me, but I guess she's not yet ready.

"Shall we?" My senses came back when my best friend asked.

I smiled at her and then nodded.

"Let's go girls." Dr. Park said and so we followed him.

When we arrived at the hospital, my mom was still the same.

She was looking out the window when we entered her room.

"Mom," I called her.

She looks at my way.

But that was just a second, she then averted her gaze to the window.

Though it hurt me, I still tried to smile.

"Tita you know what, Lisa cooked something for you today, would you like to taste it?" Rosé asked her.

But she just shook her head.

I smiled at Rosé and caressed her hand.

Maybe not today.

Not again today.

"Are you okay?" Rosé asked when we were walking in the hallow.

I smiled at her.

"Of course, I know sooner or later, she will be able to talk to me again. Maybe by that time, I won't see her guilty eyes again." I tried to hold back my tears.

I missed my Mom so much.

Since I'm the only child, I have had to fight this battle alone ever since she got in the hospital.

I'm just blessed that Rosé came into my life and my girlfriend who is her best friend.

Because if not, I don't know anymore.

Maybe this is one of the reasons why I have Leo.

The suicidal one, because I wanted to commit suicide too.

"You!" I got back to the present when I heard someone shout.

It came from a classy beautiful lady, with eyes that looked like a cat.

And it suits her perfectly.

Her eyes, those alluring eyes seem familiar to me.

I look at my back to see if she's talking to other people but it looks like it's me.

"Do you know her?" I asked Rosé.

"No, but I guess you do?" Rosé is also confused.

And when she's near she suddenly slaps me.

Fuck.

That hurts.

What was that?

"Yah! Why did you do that!" Chaeyounga shouted.

"Because I have the right to do that she fucking kissed me and left me after, is this your girlfriend? Well then, she's cheating on you!" She answered us back.

And damn, I was really confused.

I don't fucking hell know what she's talking about.

"Oh my god, maybe it's Luca," Rosé whispered in my ears.

Damn.

I'm dead meat.

Did that asshole just fucking kiss anyone?

My innocent lips.

"A-Ahm, miss I think there's a misunderstanding-

"Oh, so you're pretending now because your girlfriend is here?" She rolled her eyes.

Why does it suit her?

"No, she's not my girlfriend. I mean it's not me, no it's me but it's not me." What the heck I am saying?

Confusion all over her beautiful face.

Why do I keep complimenting her?

Because she's really beautiful.

My mind was interrupted.

"Miss what she's trying to say is, it's hard to explain, but I'm telling you it's not her." Rosé tried to explain.

"So you're telling me that it's not her though I'm pretty sure it's her?" Her poker face seems intimidating.

Okay, should I explain it to her?

"Any problem here?" We saw Dr. Kang.

She's Park Chaeyoung's cousin.

"Nothing to worry about Couz, it's an emergency," Rosé explained.

And Dr. Seulgi knows about me.

"Oh, Ms. Jennie, I think it's time for us to talk now?" She asked the lady in front of me.

"Do you know them?" She asked instead.

"Yeah, this is my cousin, and this is my Tito's patient. And I guess I know what's happening." Dr. Kang smiled.

"Shall we?" She added.

The cat woman rolls her eyes before she follows Dr. Kang.

And I just can't help but stare at her as she walks away.

Even her back screams beauty.

And my heart suddenly skipped a beat.
