・???'s P.O.V

"How long has it been?" I put my bag down as the male asked. "Seven months..." I answer and he scoffs. "You'll die if you continue like that!" I look at him. "I know...I want to die...this is getting harder to live with, why should I keep going?" The male looked at me with disbelief.
"Listen. Don't think of it that w-" I looked away. "And why shouldn't I? You are the reason I am like this in the first place. You're the one who made me this way. I told you to fix it but it's been years and you still don't know how" he looked away.
"Listen, I am sor-"
"Sorry won't fucking change what you did!! I am trying my hardest to not do any damage and I've been waiting for you to fix your mistake. You keep saying that you are still trying to find a way but...is there even a way? Have you been tricking me all along?" I grab my books and walk to the door.
"I am leaving. I want to hear your answer once we get home"

・Y/N's P.O.V

"It feels weird to go home..." I said putting my clothes into my black bag. Amber hummed in response. "We'll have to come back here for our exams though," she said walking to the chair and sitting down. She grabbed a book from the bookshelf next to her and opened it.
"Did you hear?" She said, not taking her eyes off the book. "Hm?" I looked at her as she shifted her gaze to me. "They say that the vampire that attacked Minyoung was one of the vampires from the VTC. He somehow managed to escape and get inside Chorworth. They said they'll open that place up again" she looked back at the pages of the book. I went back to my bag and stuffed more of my stuff into the bag.
"Taeyong..." the male's name managed to escape my lips. Amber looked up at me. "Huh?" I sighed and went to look out the window. "Nothing...I just thought of something..." Amber put the book down and walked up to me. "Is everything okay?" I looked at her and sighed. "He has been ignoring me...I don't know if he is but it feels like he doesn't want to talk to me or whatever. He would always walk away whenever he saw me..."
Amber looked at me. "I am pretty sure it's just a misunderstanding. Why on earth would he be ignoring you?" I sighed. "I have no idea..."

"Ugh, these are heavy..." I mumbled as I tried carrying my bags. I heard a chuckle coming from behind me and I turned around only to see who other than Jackson Wang from China!
"Need help?" A smile made its way to my lips as he said that. "Yes. It's a good thing you showed up" he let out a small laugh as he helped me carry my luggage.
"How's Jinyoung now?" I asked as we walked through the school's hallways. "The nurse says he's better than yesterday...he still hasn't woken up though" I sighed. "He'll be fine...trust me" Jackson smiles a little and we continue walking towards the exit.
We were just about to leave when I heard my name being called from behind me. I turned around and froze as my eyes met the male's. A slight smile was painted on his lips. "T-Taeyong...hi..." he walked towards us. "How are you?" He asked. "Good...how about you?" I replied. "I'm doing okay...is something wrong?" He asked now tilting his head a little. "Huh? No, no! I...am just tired...we should get going...Mr. Liu is probably waiting..." I said, looking at Jackson who nodded. "We'll see you later!" Jackson said, smiling.
I nodded and looked at Taeyong who looked disappointed but still smiled. "Okay then, we'll talk later!" He waved and I and Jackson left the hallway heading outside. Jackson helped me put everything down next to Mr. Liu's car before leaving. Soon Jackie and Amber also arrived so we drove away to Amber's house.

July 5th, 2005

"Hey Y/N can you take out the trash?" Amber asked as she walked into the kitchen. "Oh yeah, that's fine" I grabbed the bags of rubbish and walked out. I entered the alleyway where we throw our trash away. I put the bags down and looked up but froze.
"W-what are you doing?!" Standing at the very end of the alleyway were two men. One of them holding the other back, a knife to his throat. Their heads both turned my way when they heard my voice.
I had to stop him! Using my power I disarmed the man with a knife and pushed him onto the wall, making him let go of the other male who looked at me eyes wide. "W-what are y-you??" The male in first of me stuttered out. "Me? What are you? Are you from here?" I looked at the male behind me. "What was going on? Are you two from here?" He hesitantly shook his head. "No...we aren't from here...this man just brought me here a few days ago"
I looked at the male in front of me who had his eyes wide open. "I see...you are Impotens...you don't have powers. Let me guess, you brought this guy here to sell him and use that money to get a Positer to get you powers?" I smirked as the male looked even more shocked hearing what I had guessed. "I am right?" He didn't answer he just looked down.
I've heard of cases where there is this gang from the other part of the world where they would kidnap people and sell them here to the rich and then go to some Positers and pay them to get them powers.
"I won't let you go like this! I have to report you don't I?" The male looked up at me. "N-no! P-please d-don't!" I sighed. "Sorry...not sorry"
I let out a whistle and an owl flew over to me. He wasn't an actual owl though. He was an officer who was half owl half-human. Yes, these species existed. They usually work for helping out in emergencies. We summon them by a whistle and they would immediately know where you are and if you are in danger or not. Each family would have one working for them. Since my parents are dead I have one all to myself. His name was Snow.
The creature turned into the form of the human (well except he still had wings) and bowed. "You summed me, Miss?" I nodded and told him what happened. He ended up having to take both males back to the city's police department.
"Thanks, Snow" I thanked the officer. He bowed and smiled before disappearing with the two males.
"What took you so long?" Amber asked the moment I stepped foot inside the house. "Had to deal with some Impotens" I answered grabbing a bright red apple from the fruit basket. "Huh?" She tilted her head as she turned to me. "Long story" she chuckled. "Alright, tell me later"

・Taeyong's P.O.V

"You okay?" The male asked earning a scoff from me. "Okay? Do I seem okay to you?" He let out a sigh. "Would you stop?" I rolled my eyes as I opened my closet. "Taehyung recognized me..." I said, pulling out a towel and putting it on my shoulder. "So?" I sighed. "You know that kid, he knows what my dad is and he might go telling people about it..." the male hung his down and I heard a dark chuckle escaping his lips. "What are you trying to say?" He raised his head a little, that smug smirk on his lips growing wider.
"Huh? What are you talking about?" He bit his lip. "Why don't we just...?" The moment I got what he was trying to say I scoffed in disbelief. "Are you crazy?! No! I don't want that!" The male looked disappointed with my answer. "We had a deal. When you complete your part then I'll leave and you can do whatever you want. While I am still here, with you, you can't do anything" the male rolled his eyes and sighed. "Whatever..."
"By the way, Jaehyuk hasn't transformed in weeks...don't you think that's enough? We should let him transform you know you are the only one he can drink from" I look at him knowing that I had to do it if I want everything to get back to normal.
"When should I go?" I asked looking down at the floor. "Maybe today? When he'll be transforming, I'll tell him that he doesn't need to stop. I'll let him turn into a vampire and I'll call you" I nodded understanding. "Anyway...gotta go now..." he did a small wave and then disappeared.
Jaehyuk was killed...they killed him earlier today...
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath in. It was because of me. He went to attack Minyoung because I didn't let him drink from me that day. If I had let him drink from me Minyoung would have still been alive and he wouldn't have to die. It was all my fault...
I wasn't planning on going to the game today even though Y/N asked me to come. The reason I was here was to look for Jaehyuk. Once I told him I didn't want him drinking from me today he escaped and came running here.
I was looking for him till I stopped when I heard a female scream not too far from here. I ran to where the sound came from and saw Jaehyuk drinking from the school's top student, Kang Minyoung.
As I ran towards the two Jaehyuk looked at me and smiled. "Goodbye~" And just like that he disappeared using his teleportation powers. I immediately ran over to the female.
"Minyoung!! Minyoung wake up!!" She wasn't gonna wake up. Her breathing has been starting to slow down. I was panicking. I didn't know what to do. "I...I-" just before I could do anything, I heard footsteps coming this way and managed to see that it was no other than Kim Taehyung.
"No, no..." I bit my lip as I looked at the female. "I..." I let out a sigh of frustration before getting up and running away. The last thing I wanted was for me to get caught. My secret could be revealed if I did and I don't want that to happen.

July 10th, 2005

・Y/N's P.O.V

"Hello!" I said to the boy with a smile. He looked at me and smiled. "Hey" he replied. I sat down next to him. "You have fire powers! Nice! What's your name?" I asked as he looked away. "Lee Taeyong. Yours?" He picked up his bag as he asked. "Jeon Y/N" he smiled. "I gotta go now...it was nice meeting you!" The boy smiled and waved before running away.

I gasped as I woke up. Taeyong? Fire powers? No, no this was wrong...I have never met that boy...ever. That wasn't Taeyong. I haven't met a boy like that ever. My mind is probably just making things up to mess with my thinking or something.
I rubbed my face and got up. "You're awake?" Hearing the sudden voice, I flinched. "Amber?" I mumbled as the light suddenly opened. The worried female got up and walked to me.
"Are you okay?" I smiled and nodded. "Yeah...just a weird dream..." she nodded and went to the small fridge outside our room. She came back inside holding a bottle of water. "Try to go back to sleep...it's still very early. I nodded before asking, "why are you awake?" She sighed and moved away so I see her bed which had stacks of books on it. "Studying..." I put the bottle down. "Well, try to get some sleep, you need rest" she nodded and smiled. "I will" she went to her bed and I went to mine.
"Goodnight," I said as I lay my head on my pillow. "Goodnight" she replied.

July 17th, 2005

"I woke up at the hospital. I didn't know what was going on..." I said to the male. "Then they said that my parents died. That they didn't survive the fire..." the male sighed.
Today Taehyung came over. Right now we were sitting outside where he asked me about the day my parents passed away. I was hesitant but I decided to tell him since there was no reason to hide it.
"I was just six. What would you expect me to do? I didn't believe anyone, I cried...I cried a lot. I still cry about it, I miss them...they told me that I got fire powers after I got into that fire...you know...that's because some people get their powers based on something that happened in their life. That thing was the fire for me"
Taehyung looked at me smiling slightly. "We are very similar if you look at it from a certain angle" he chuckled a little. I nodded. "We kinda are..."
"Tell me more about your parents..." Taehyung said. "Oh, alright..."
"Well, my mom was air-powered she didn't use to work but for my dad, he was fire-powered and he worked as a security guard. Both my parents don't have any siblings. My mom's dad, my grandpa, passed away when she was sixteen I think...yeah. My dad's parents didn't like my mom and never liked me either so when my parents passed away I didn't have any but my mom's mother, she couldn't take of me though since she was really sick so I had to be sent to an orphanage..."
"I don't know much, to be honest" I confessed. He nodded and got up. "Did you finish studying? Tomorrow we're starting exams!" I nodded. "I did! I just hope I don't mess up" I said making Taehyung chuckle. "How about you have lunch here before you leave?" I suggested. Taehyung's eyes opened wide and he nodded saying, "okay!" In agreement.

July 18th, 2005

I didn't know what to do. My best friend was laying on the floor...probably dead...the blood was still dripping from her wrist. It never stopped. I looked up and my eyes met with the vampire's eyes. "Who's next?" He asks, a dark chuckle escaping his lips afterward. I looked behind me and looked at Jackie, Who was backing away. Mr. and Mrs. Liu have been killed too. It was only me and Jackie now...
The vampire came closer with every step I and Jackie took. The female looked at me. "Y/N...I...I'll go...but...promise me you'll stay...promise me that you'll stay alive...okay?" My eyes widened at what the female said. "W-what?! Jackie! N-" before I could finish she used her air-controlling powers to push me away, out of the house.
I rubbed my head in pain as I harshly landed on the hard floor. I wanted to run back inside but I couldn't. The door wouldn't open. I was banging on the wooden door mercilessly, yelling and begging for whoever was still alive to open up. I even tried to burn it open but...even my power seemed useless. After what seemed like an eternity I heard a scream echo throughout the empty streets. I couldn't help but start crying again. I just lost the people I loved the most...for the second time in my life...
I fell onto my knees crying and shaking uncontrollably. I couldn't feel anything in these moments. I...I just felt empty. I couldn't get up, I couldn't do anything, I couldn't feel anything...I...I was paralyzed...
The door suddenly opened and I somehow managed to look up. My teary black eyes met the red ones. The blood-drinking male came down to my level and made me look into his eyes. "They're dead...all of them..." he laughed. I couldn't get myself to look at him. I just couldn't.
My eyes opened wide the moment the male said something I couldn't make out and all of a sudden I felt as if I was being stabbed in the stomach. The pain was slowly spreading all over my body. It was unbearable.
That vampire...he...he just used the torture spell on me...that spell was not an easy one...and it was illegal.
I looked at the male as the pain managed to reach my head. "Ahhh!" I screamed in agony. "Huh? Enjoying this? Want more?" The male said, kneeling down next to me. "Huh? Do you? Hm?" I couldn't look at the male but I still managed to scream out, "NO! Please stop!" He got up and chuckled. And that same moment the pain faded away just as fast as it came.
I looked at the male now crying harder. "W-why...why y-you mon-monster...?" He laughed and came down to me. "Because I want to...and you know...since I've already killed everyone here...why...why don't I make myself a vampire friend?"
He tilted his head at the same moment I realized what he was trying to say. "Y-you...no! Please! Don't! I...I..." the male got closer to me...he was going to turn me into a vampire...he wants that...his smirk grew bigger and I flinched as I felt his cold touch on my neck.
He slowly started moving his thumb against it. "Calm down...it won't hurt..." I closed my eyes and the male put his other hand around my back as he positioned himself. "Don't scream, okay? I'll be done in a moment..."
I felt a tear running down my cheek.
"Stop...stop it...please.....
