May 5th, 1995

        The six-year-old girl stared in wide-eyed horror at the flames.
        She watched as the fire leaped from her bookshelf to the dressing table.
        "Mo-....mommy....." she cried. There was no way out.
        "W-what d-do I...I d-do?" The female cried as she got out of her bed.
        Her eyes scanned the room looking for a way out.
        "The window!" She thought.
        The fire was spreading fast. She had no time to lose.
        "From here..." she got into her bed again and tried to slowly get to her desk. The window was right above it.
        Suddenly...to her misfortune, she slipped.
        Her last scream went unheard.
