Your touch was something that Dallas Winston craved every second of every day. Whenever he was away from you, all that would go through his mind was your face. He wanted to see it. He wanted to put his lips on your lips. You've had a difficult time opening up to guys, but Dallas was different. He approached you in a way that wasn't like the other guys. Although he was part of the gang that you hung with, Dallas was the one who captured your heart.
Speaking of the gang, three out of the seven were your brothers, and not only that, but the heart breaker of the gang was your twin brother. Growing up, Sodapop was the guy who could easily catch the attention of the ladies. It was pretty difficult living under his shadow. Sodapop would be popular, everyone knew him in town. As for you, you were the more shy twin. You didn't interact with as many people as Sodapop.
Dallas found that the most attractive about you. When it seemed that you wanted to have nothing to do with him, it was something new. Dallas was so used to having women throwing themselves all over him, but not you. You were different, and Dallas liked that. If it wasn't for that one night at the club, you never would have found out about how Dallas felt about you. A few drinks of that tequila and he was like sputtering out details you wished he would have told you earlier.
Even though you knew he was drunk, you took his words for it and thought it was true. You knew that he would never say those words to you when he was sober, but when you asked about it again, he said it was true. He really did love you. You two started off a relationship but kept it on the low-key. Away from the gang, and especially away from your brothers. If anyone of them knew about it, Sodapop would be the first one to rip Dallas's head off. They were always extremely overprotective of you, and being the only woman in the family, that made the protectiveness even worse.
Dallas has been rebellious ever since he was kid, but going against the rule of letting the gang knowing about the relationship he had with you killed him inside. There was nothing he hated more than not being able to brag about to everyone that you were his girlfriend. He understood the situation though. He knew how your brothers were around you, and he didn't want anything to happen to you.
"Are your brothers home?" Dallas asked, dropping into your room from the window. You shook your head as you approached him. Dallas smirked. "Good, because I've been wanting to hold you all day."
Dallas walked up to you and shoved you straight backwards onto your bed. You gasped from surprise, but couldn't help but smile as you saw Dallas begin to climb over on top of you. He dipped low and clashed his lips upon yours. You melted into your bed as he laid on top of you, continuing to deepen the kiss. You loved the feeling of his lips on yours, but before the session could begin, the sound of your door swung open.
"Hey sis, I brought you—WHAT THE HELL?!"
That prolonged comment was followed with the noise of plates crashing against the ground. Your eyes shot wide open and you saw Dallas perk up and look over his shoulder. You recognized that bellowed tone of voice anywhere. It was Darrel, and out of all your brothers, you knew he would be the one to flip out of the most. Darrel being the oldest brother meant he was the most overprotective. You could hear the rapid footsteps of Sodapop and Ponyboy race to the bedroom, which caused your heart to rise immediately. In a blink of an eye, Dallas was ripped right off of you.
You quickly sat up and watched in wide eyes as your eldest brother slammed Dallas against the wall. You scrambled out of your bed, yelling at Darrel not to do anything to Dallas. Darrel held Dallas against the wall by his collar, piercing his eyes into Dallas's. Dallas had to admit, he had never been afraid of the gang, but Darrel was beginning to scare him a tad bit. Dallas stuttered an explanation, but that Darrel lose his temper even more.
"You want to explain why the hell you were on top of [Y/N]?!" Darrel roared, tightening his grip on his collar. Dallas gulped. "WHAT WERE YOU TWO DOING!!!"
"Darrel! STOP IT!!!"
Darrel paused and looked to the side. The fierce look you were giving Darrel give in. He released a huff and unwillingly let go of Dallas. Dallas landed on the floor, gently rubbing his neck.
"Damn Darry, you've really gotten stronger," Dallas lightly joked, but receiving nothing but Darrel or anybody in that room. Dallas coughed awkwardly. "Anyways...Surprise."
Darrel shot his eyes over at you. "[Y/N], what the hell is this idiot getting at?"
You inhaled a deep breath before exhaling the answer, causing the faces of your brothers to twist into a mixture of disgust and confusion. You explained to them about how you and Dallas had been hiding your relationship because you knew how they'd react. The entire situation with Dallas and Darrel was the prime reaction you expected, and you didn't like it. Darrel apologized not only to you, but to Dallas.
"I never would hurt [Y/N] Darry," Dallas admitted, wrapping his arm around your waist. Darrel narrowed his eyes at Dallas, and he slowly unraveled himself from you. You rolled your eyes. "I might be scared a little bit, but I'll get over it."
Dallas looked over to the side and planted a kiss on your head. Darrel sighed and spun around to exit the room. He hated watching you date guys, regardless if he knew him or not. He didn't trust anybody with you, but Dallas was an acceptation. Only because Darrel knew that when Dallas said something like that, he genuinely meant it.
"So...You're datin' my twin huh?" Sodapop asked, walking up to you and Dallas with Ponyboy seconds behind him. "Just try not to picture my face when you look at her."
Dallas moaned in disgust, receiving a loud laugh from your two brothers in the room. You slapped Sodapop on the shoulder, but that only made him laugh harder.
"You're the worst Soda," You complained, crossing your arms. "You really are."
