Zameer
I've been asking Shehzad about his engagement with Amyrah. Isn't that what Amyrah had told me? That she's engaged to Shehzad. Or so it seemed, because Shehzad kept saying no. After a sudden thought, I asked him what will happen if this marriage doesn't work. It was a stupid thought, but unbelievably Shehzad nodded. Seriously?
"Then I'll marry her?" Shehzad stated, making my eyes widen and smile vanish.
I quickly composed myself and said, "That's great."
Then Shehzad burst out laughing. "I was just kidding. Oh my Allah look at your face. It was totally worth it." He clutched his stomach, laughing.
Huh? I ruffled my hair, wondering what he just said. After a moment, I angrily glared at him. "Shehzaad!!!"
Scoffing I whacked his head. "Why on earth did you say that?"
"I just wanted to see what you'll do, but why were you so baffled?" Shehzad asked.
"I was just shocked that you didn't even tell me about the girl who you wanted to marry," I said nonchalantly. He just nodded, making me mentally sigh.
"But what if I marry her?" He again asked. What's with him today? He isn't acting like a 'Shehzad'.
"I don't know. Why do you ask?"
"Just thought. It'll be awkward though. You know, because I already know her, and then... no way. How can I marry her maan!?" Shehzad groaned.
"Seriously? Who told you to marry her!? Are you even in your senses?" I groaned.
"I don't know either. Who will you marry?"
"Who knows. Some girl," I replied. "Whoever it is, I'll never be like dad, I'll make my marriage work, I'll live happily."
"You will. You surely will, Zameer." After a while he continued, "I can't imagine myself being married. It's soo..."
Is he for real? "Shehzad, marriage is a must."
"What if the girl, be like.. a... like..? If she be like... How will I manage?" he asked worried.
What! Please tell me this is a dream. Tell me I ain't having this conversation. I listened mutely.
"Zameer, I envy you. Unlike you I never had the courage to stand up for myself. I am always a looser right? Just because I do a great job dosen't mean I am helpful or wanted. Look, even my sisters control me. Everyone makes fun of me, even my niece. I am like a puppet for everyone. I am never wanted."
He rambled unhappily. I can't believe that Shehzad's feeling this way.
"My future wife might do the same," he breathed heavily.
It felt funny, but Lord forbid, I didn't laugh. He was too serious.
"Shehzad, sisters are always like that. And you're the only boy right? So they just like to make fun of you. It's no big deal. Just laugh together with them," I said choosing my words carefully.
This was new. Shehzad never opens up to anyone. He's the one who gives me advices. He's the happy one. He dosen't care about what other people think or say. Then why suddenly?
"That's what I always do, Zameer. Deep down, I don't like it," He murmured.
I stared at him in disbelief. How did the conversation turn out like this? I just stayed quiet.
Suddenly whirlng around to face me, he asked, "Have you spoken to Amyrah?" Uh..uh.
I nodded. Then he continued, "See. That's what."
"What!?"
"I can't marry her, Zameer."
Take a deep breath. Calm down. He's just messing up my mind. What the heck is wrong with him? Who told him to marry her? Wait, who is this Her!? I cursed, groaning frustratedly.
"Then don't, Shehzad," I calmly said.
"I was thinking about her. Now I realize it. I understand. I won't marry her. One day, I'll find someone," he murmured. I closed my eyes in frustration, while he continued, "Or maybe not. Who knows? I might marry her."
Saying that Shehzad looked at me and smiled, patting me in the shoulder, "Thanks for listening."
And left.
He left.
I stared at the retreating figure. I wanted to scream. Shehzad messed up not only my mind, my heart, my brain, everything. I looked at the door, thinking and thinking. What is he even saying!?

Amyrah
"Aaa...aa.."
Currently I am trying to sneeze. Long story short, I didn't. The sneeze isn't letting out. Geez! My nose is kinda pink and swollen, which made me mad even more.
Grrr. Grrr.
The vibration of my phone, startled me, making my sneeze run away again. Why does everyone disturb it from coming?
Grabbing the phone I answered, with a, "Huh!?"
"Ho, Amyrah. Big news. Open the door!" Zehra exclaimed.
Before I could reply, she already cut. Angrily I threw the phone, on the bed of course. I can't lose it by breaking it, can I?
With my hair frizzy, all around my face, I went downstairs yawning, to open the door.
"Surprise!" Zehra came and hugged me.
"Hey. Zee, why are you here? We are supposed to be angry at each other!"
"Were we? Don't remember. Wait. What did you call me!?" She asked, loudly.
"Zee."
"Whatever. I've got news!" She blabbered excitedly. "Lemme call the others too! It'll be cool. Do you have snacks? Bring some up! We could have fun. Let's party!"
I stared at her while she ran and flopped onto my bed.
"Tell me the news," I said.
"But others didn't come yet! Oh well... I can't wait till I tell you!" Zehra exclaimed laughing.
"Then shut up and tell."
"Here goes. So Shehzad came to our house and was chit-chatting with Zameer. And then they spoke about your engagement..."
"Huh? Why?" I interrupted her.
"Shut up and listen," she snapped and continued bossily, "Then Shehzad said, that he loves to marry you. It happened like this..."
Her words trailed off, my ears only absorbing the words he loves to marry you. Oh my Allah.
Shehzad!?
Shehzad!?
Shehzad!?
"Are you even listening!?" Zehra snapped again.
"Shehzad?"
"Aww.... you are thinking about your Shehzad?" Zehra burst out laughing. "Hahaha! Wow! Hahaha! Amyrah I can't believe it! Hahaha!"
"No, idiot!" I grabbed the pillow and hit her, while she continued to laugh noisily.
"But hey," she stopped and looked at me, "I didn't hear what they spoke after that. Well, who cares? I heard the best of it!"
"Then what about that Raman?" I said.
"C'mon Amyrah, you can't even remember his name duh. That's Rumaan!"
Eh? Still... Shehzad!!?
The door bell rang, Zehra slipped out of the room and went to open it herself, while I just stared at the ceiling.
Shehzad?
It just felt so wrong...
"Amyrah! I missed you!" Bushra came running and hugged me. Zehra and Humaira followed, literally pushing me flat on the bed.
When suddenly my nose itched. Uh.. uh..
"Aaaa..Aa.." I groaned while the others burst out laughing hilariously, "Urgh! This sneeze!"
"Achoo. You can do it, Amyrah!" Humaira shouted.
"Go Amyrah, go!" Zehra screamed.
"Yeah, just let it go," Bushra said.
"You guys are dead today!" I screamed, hitting them all with the pillow, while they laughed and shouted words of encouragement.
"Let it go, Amyrah!" Zehra giggled.
"Let it go! Let it go! Can't hold it back anymore!" Humaira screached.
With that my day was ruined, while they continued singing that stupid frozen song. That let it out or something.
"...The past is in the paaaast!"
"Let it go! Let it gooo! And I'll rise like the break of daaawn!"
"Let it goo! Let it goo! That perfect girl is gone!"
"Here I staaandd!! In the light of day!!"
"Let the storm rage on!!!"
"The cold never bothered---"
"A..a...a...achooo!!!" Finally.
"You did it!"
"Pass the popcorns! Let's celebrate!"
"Celebrating the birth of a sneeze!"
Can I die?
