Chapter 5
After Luxa and Hazard telling her everything they remember and about what happened when she was 2-3, Margaret understood why Gregor was so upset. She understood why he acts different than the rest of the family. Why he always had atleast one hand in his pocket. Why her family couldn't call her daughter Temp, because it brought back back memories.
She smiled at them, and left with Val. She feel like fly in around calmed her, and she trusted Val, because he saved her life. His personality reminds her of her husband, Desmond.
Oh, no, she thought. Desmond.
She told Val to fly down to the High Hall and then asked for directions to the nursery. She picked up the sleeping Temple gently, then quickly got directions from Dulcet, so she could grab her phone and keys from the museum.
She called Val down and asked him nicely to bring her home. He didn't listen.
"But why not?!" She asked.
"Because you can't go home without telling anyone. They will think something happened."
Margaret didn't think that was the only reason, but she listened to him. He brought her to where Luxa and Hazard were and told her that she was going home.
"Of course, Gregor can come home whenever he wants," Margaret said, not letting the others talk.
"But Mar-" Hazard started.
"And I will visit when I can." She interrupted.
"Margar-" he tried again.
"I have to go home, talk to my family. Tell my husband everything." She was talking to herself now, and not listening to Hazard.
"Margaret!" Hazard yelled. "You can't just go home."
"Why not?" She asked, confused. "Val said as long as I told someone, I could go." She turned to Val, and glared at him. He shrugged his shoulders and took a step back.
"You just can't. It is because of the Cutters. They have decided to start taking over territory. We have to be careful when you leave and-" Hazard was intterupted by a woman walking in. She looked very frail and she was very skinny. She fell down to her knees.
Luxa ran over and said,"What is wrong, Nerissa?"
"They prophecies. We found another one." She closed her eyes and put her hand on her forehead, like she was in great pain.
"What is wrong about that?" Luxa asked. "Of course you found another one. There are many in that room."
Nerissa tried speaking, but only her lips moved. No sound came out. She fell to the ground. She had fainted.
"Something is wrong,"Luxa said, after getting help for Nerissa. "We must go to the prophecy room immediately." After making sure the doctors didn't new help, she walked out of the room quickly. Hazard and Margaret followed quickly behind.
Luxa lead them to a room covered in words. A lantern sat near the top corner, above the doorway. There was a small rock step stool that Luxa immediately stepped on, so she could read the prophecy.
"A, B, C," her young self said, pointing at the words, "A, B, C, D."
After Luxa read it she moved out of the way for Margaret to read it.
Over, Under, Above,Below
In between or not, you know
Crowns of gold or none at all
You may or not come and fall
Maybe real, or not, maybe cold, or hot
Fur or none, dark or sun
Enemies will slice, allies will be nice
In war, in strife, flame and life,
Protect your own, your kingdoms grown
One of crawling, one of flying,
one of spinning, one of gnawing,
One of nibbling, one of shining,
One of under, four above,
Don't be stopped because of love
Over, Under, Above, Below
In between or not, you know
Crowns of gold or none at all,
You may or not come and fall
"What does this mean?" Margaret asked, kneeling down on the cold, hard floor. Hazard had just finished reading it.
"I do not know," Luxa said quietly.
