Forgot to rant about my strange weekend.

So basically, we went pretty far up north n' such. No wifi for the weekend (Roleplay people, I had (crappy) 3G so I WAS able to rp but it was super slow and crappy)
So, we saw a fawn!!!!!!!

It was really great. My brother and I got to play in the mud like children, we followed deer tracks, swatted at flies...
And then night fell.
My brother and I had to share room and we looked out the (very big) window.
There were random flashes of light all over the back yard.
Scary animal? Flashlight? Demons?
EEK
So we were freaking out, then after awhile, I was like,
"Oh. They must be fireflies."
"Ohhh..."
So then we sat and admired the fireflies.
Then we got tired so we tried to sleep.
But irony said no.
BEEP BEEP!!!!!!

So I was trying not to pee myself and my brother was trying not to pass out
It only beeped twice but STILL
THOSE THINGS ARE SO LOUD
We go to my mom (YAS I'm a scaredy cat. Loud noises are my weakness.) and she said to go back to sleep unless it happened again.
And of course it happened again
But not only the ones in our room. The one in my moms room. And the living room.

So now, I'm trying even harder not to pee
Keep in mind, this was at midnight.
So now EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE IS UP.
Long story short, I didn't trust our room so I slept on the recliner and my bro slept on the couch.
FAST FORWARD NEXT DAYS EVENING.
Everyone (Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Bro, Me) are playing Wheel Of Fortune on the Wii (yes we're old school XD)

I almost fell out of my chair. (It was my turn and I almost dropped the Wii remote..)
Then it stopped
For five minutes
BEEP BEEP BEEP!!!
It went off like five times that evening.
By now I was starting to think the house was haunted.
We did some research and our very likely hypotheses was the humidity.
The house is quite new and my grandparents don't have an air conditioner yet.
Anywho THE HUMIDITY WAS SETTING IT OFF.
Apparently the smoke detector can't tell the difference between smoke and water vapor?

I went through lots of trauma over the weekend...
Oh and also I got to lick a salt block.
It tastes like salt in case you were wondering.
So ah yeah.
