Dalton's POV

When we told the others what had happened when we got back everybody just wanted to go home. Except for Gabe who stayed at Todrick's house to look after the shapeshifting dude before the adults came back. Tomorrow is Monday, I think. I'm not really sure actually. I could've sworn that two days ago it was Wednesday. My dates are messed up, cons of trying to save the world I guess.

"Hey Cole, can I come over tonight?" I asked, jogging up to be beside him. I didn't want to go home tonight, Sophie and Becca have been asking questions lately. It gets annoying.

"Oh sorry dude. My sister's coming by for tonight. Been planning it for a long time but I forgot to tell you. I'm sorry." Darn it. Oh well, I guess we have all been kind of hanging out with each other more than our families.

"It's fine. I can ask someone else." I shrugged and he gave me a small smile. Let's see. I know nothing about David's family and I overheard aka eavesdropped on Dangela's conversation and they're introducing their relationship to both families. I definitely don't want to be a third wheel. Gabe is still in Todrick's house so, Will!

"William Jay Behlendorf!" I yell and run up to him. He visibly jumped, yay I scared him!

"Uh, hey Dal." He smiles and puts his hands in his pockets.

"Can I pretty please come over? Please?" I try and use the puppy dog look but I know it's not going to work on Will.

"Sure. David's not coming over today and I'm pretty sure Alex is at a friend's tonight." Will nodded.

"Alex?" I asked. Why would Gabe's girlfriend being at a friend's house have to do with anything?

"My brother. Alex Behlendorf not Alex Moore." Oh, that makes more sense.

I follow Will to his house. We were walking at normal speed but my feet were getting tired.

"Where the hell do you live? It's so far!" I exclaim.

"We're going to the bus stop, which is literally in front of us so you can like, sit down on the bench."

"Ew no, germs." I make a disgusted face and Will laughs. How dare he laughs at a time like this! The world is ending! My feet are tired and we're getting on a bus filled with B.O.

"Well how else are we gonna get home?" He said exasperated.

I smiled wickedly. His eyes widened just as I started to run. I picked him up and ran all the way towards the school because he lives somewhere near here.

"I forgot about that." Will grumbled, holding his head which made me laugh.

"Oh relax. Where do you live?" I asked and he pointed in a direction.

"Just down here. It's close so please don't do that again." Will said and led the way.

I followed him quickly. We got to his house and he called out to his mom that I was here. She answered back but it was inaudible to me but apparently Will heard it because he shouted a response back.

He led me to his room and it was a mess.

"Do you ever clean in here? I mean, I knew you were a pig but not in this way." I saw him rolling his eyes.

"Shut up, I haven't been in here in days so I don't think I have much time to clean it. It's either I'm in my living room with David, I'm at David's, I'm at Cole's or I'm at Todrick's." Will said. "All of the video games I own are in my living room or my basement except for this Pac-man thing. I haven't found much use in going in here."

I look around confused.

"What Pac-man thing?" I ask after looking around for a while.

"It's right here." Will said, shoving a ton of garbage off a shelf, which is actually an arcade game thing.

"Whoa, that's cool." I say

"If you think that's cool then you should see my other video games. I have so many they're getting hard to keep track of, c'mon."

Long story short we ended up playing video games until his mom shouted at us to go to bed. Good times, good times.

Will devoured all the breakfast before I woke up so I got no breakfast. That's what I get for sleeping in late I guess. Oh well.

When we got to the school we just headed straight to our class because we do have the same first class. Today went by quickly actually because before I knew it, BAM LUNCH!

Will was already there when Cole and I came from our class. Then David came and so did Dangela. Rumour has it Dangela might surpass Galexy as the cutest couple this year. Even though everyone found out only today. People these days, this is another reason why Cole and I aren't public.

"Hey guys. Have you seen Gabe?" Dana asked.

"Alex'll know. Gabe picks her up right?" Cole says.

"I'll grab her." Angela says and skips over to her table and comes back, dragging Alex along with her.

"Hey Alex, do you know where Gabe is?" Will asks

"I called him last night. Got into a fight. I was gonna apologize this morning when he picked me up but when I called his house his mom said he was home sick." Alex sighed, aw, poor girl. "Y'know Angie, you could've like, asked me before you dragged me here and told them yourself."

"Nah, I'm good bro." Angela grinned.

Alex walked away.

"He didn't look sick yesterday." Dana said, pursing his lips together.

"Maybe it was what you made last night guys." Cole laughed.

"Excuse me! It was darn right delicious. Better take that back or I'll make some more and shove it up your-" Angela started to say but Will interrupted her.

"I'm sure Gabe'll be fine soon, we'll just have to find Brodie on our own."

Darn it, he's right about that. But that means Cole's gonna lead us for the time being. Dammit.
