- MAL, and her brother, Milo grew up in the village under the guidance of the elders. They were strictly forbidden to communicate with other villagers. They have maintain to isolated themselves from others for their own good. Their twins born with unique powers that neither of them could understand. From above any other person, Mal is considered the one the elders most look after fearing for her danger not from the people but herself. Despite their warnings, the twins have maintain some friends including Nimue, and Squirrel.

-When the elders choose Nimue to go on a quest. The elders choose the twins to accompanied her and protect her and help finished the mission. They choose to go but due to a twisted fate, Mal gets separated from the group, alongside Squirrel. They find themselves trying to work their way back to the group only to collide with no other than the weeping monk who somehow figures out she is no ordinary human being.
