"Oh me oh my oh what have I walked into this time?" The voice as snobby as ever. A little lamp is on the side of the boat and turned on so we can now see properly. "Oh it seems as though I have walked in on the Granger girl and the Malfoy boy having fun in the Love Tunnel." He sings "Love Tunnel" so that it sounds more like "Luuurveeee Tunneeeel." He continues, "also known as (or aka for you inferior brains. Bet you didn't know thats what it meant)," he smirks at Draco," Kissing and smooching and hugging. Ah young love." You can almost see the hearts in his eyes. "Mwa! Mwa! Mwa!" He blows kisses to an invisible audience.

"That's enough Snobby." Draco drawls in annoyance. Snobby immediately stops. But then after a moments consideration he changes his mind and keeps going. You see, Snobby is the Malfoy family house elf, but he is very rebellious.

"What are you doing here Snobby?" I try.

"Well you see Hermione," he starts with a grin. Snobby rather likes me apparently. "I was minding my own business, cleaning the manor and minding my own business," Malfoy snorts in disbelief. "when I heard a little house elf rumor that Draco and you were going to go somewhere fun today and of course I had to come along." He lifts his nose high with pridefulness. Then he glares at Draco and continues, "I was just planning on minding my own business but then I saw you two come in here and decided Hermione here didn't need to have anymore babies with the traitorous Malfoy blood that sits before me." He gestures to Draco.

"This is a long tunnel," Malfoy groans in annoyance.

"Oh well, I dealt with that. In case you inferiority forgot, I do have my own kind of magic." And with a snap of his fingers the seat Draco is sitting on disappears along with some boat bottom. There's a splash and Draco disappears from view, out the bottom of the boat. Then, Snobby snaps his fingers again and the bottom of the boat reappears. There is a lot of shuffling around and a loud bonk as Draco likely hits his head. Then, muffled, watery screaming.

"Oh no Snobby!" I run to the end of the boat and look over the side getting the tips of my hair wet as they dip into the water. "I know you don't like him very much and I've heard all about your difficult history together but, well," I hesitate, "He's the father of my only son and I want him to be in a safe comfortable family. Besides, we're going to get married because I think I love him and he's way better then Ron."

I look at Snobby and see that he has fire in is soul and water in his eyes. He suddenly races at me and throws his arms around my waste. I feel and hear his glasses snap in two. "I'm sorry Mistress Hermione Granger, so so sorry." He weeps into my shirt which is now soaked with tears. "I just don't want you to get hurt by that horrible cheating scoundrel!" He screams the last three words and sobbing he snaps his fingers. Draco comes flying out of the water. Then, Snobby continues to use magic to turn him around so he's heading for the boat bottom head first. When his heads about to crash I see Draco cringe in anticipation, but Snobby is prepared. "Bouncy bouncy bouncy bouncy fun fun fun fun fun! Draco the bouncing ferret is back and he's the only one! He's the only one!" Snobby sings and lightly bounces Draco up and down, up and down, his head barely touching the bottom of the boat. Snobby is now laughing. I honestly cannot help myself and start laughing my head off as well. Draco has his arms folded across his chest and is scowling.

"Put me down elf!" He shrieks. Then, with a second thought he says more politely, "gently and the right way round," he says with a grimace. Then after seeing the mischievous glint in Snobby's eyes he adds, "please?" Snobby bows his head and does as he is told. Suddenly we leave the tunnel and go back into the light. With the coming of the light Draco has a realization. "Wait a minute elf," he says slowly, "if you've been with us the whole time...IT WAS YOU!" He shouts. We're nearing the docking point of the ride. Snobby gets a look of fear on his face as Draco hops to his feet. "You were the one who—" but Snobby cuts him off.

"I was only having a little fun," Snobby laughs. Then Draco starts to chase him around the tiny boat.

"Stop it! Stop fighting!" But the won't stop fighting and I think Draco has my wand so I decide to just watch. Draco pulls out his wand and zaps poor Snobby's bottom.

"Aiyeeeeee!" He shrieks. Then, with the landing dock only a few feet away he jumps.

"Have a nice ride?" The attendant asks in the monotone of "I-just-have-to-say-this-nonsense-all-day-I-don't-really-care" nonsense. Then he notices whats going on. "Oi! Cut it out" he yells. Snobby cackles with laughter in response, then snaps his fingers.

"Go far away you elf!" Draco shrieks, now running in endless circles through the air. "Or better yet, come back here and make this right!" Snobby snaps his fingers so that Draco falls to the pavement. Without missing a beat Draco is up and chasing Snobby around the park. Both of them are laughing and screaming.

"Is that your family?" The attendant asks with a grunt. He looks rather old with a long, grey beard that stretches to his knees. Its not much of an achievement considering how short he is. He's shorter than Harry anyways and thats pretty short. I think for a second about what he asked me and then I nod. "Ah yes, I used to have one of those." He smiles and starts nodding his head in remembrance. "Quite a strange one you've got there though dearie." I laugh in agreement.

"Thank you sir." He smiles and waves me off. I run down the walk to find Draco and Snobby chasing eachother around the carousel running in the wrong direction. They've gotten quite a crowd to watch them. "Idiots, they're going to get themselves killed, or worse, thrown out." Then I laugh to myself. I definitely have an interesting family, but then again we all do. And I love my new family very much. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
