Why did Lily have to take so long? Remus wondered while sat on his chair at the library. Okay, so it wasn't technically his chair, it belonged to Hogwarts, the college he was studying at, but he sat in the chair so much he had unknowingly claimed it.

Lily, his best friend was supposed to meet him there, but she hadn't showed up yet. Shame for Remus as he didn't really have any other friends. He had been gravely ill until he was 14 so missed out on primary school and making friends. He didn't have a boyfriend either. Yup I said boyfriend. That was him, Remus the gay sick kid that nobody noticed. It wasn't exactly a good reputation, but it was the one he had.

Oh, my fucking God! Remus thought. He had just seen the most beautiful boy in the entire world. It wasn't the first time Remus had seen him; the boy regularly visited Remus' roommate Peter. But seeing him this close, in a library of all places, he began to notice just how beautiful Sirius Black was.

Then, Remus noticed the pin. It was clipped to the collar of Sirius' leather jacket and it was the same as Remus' phone case.

It was a pride flag.

Did this mean that Sirius Black, the boy of his dreams, liked boys too? It was too good to be true. Remus was actually glad Lily hadn't showed up. She probably would have tried to get Remus to ask him out. Like the time at the café. And the park. And in study hall. Now he thought about it there were a lot of times where Lily had tried to get him a boyfriend. But there was only one boy Remus would ever consider asking out.

Sirius Orion Black. The boy who Remus stalked on Insta (he wasn't proud of it but he had done it). The boy who was best friends with his roommate. The boys Remus had fallen completely and hopelessly in love with.

This got him thinking. What if he asked out Sirius? I mean he was wearing a pride pin. And he was really cute.

So, Remus walked over and decided to shoot his shot
