Near the end of the ball, Prince Ian walked to the head of the room, clapping to get everyone's attention.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen, we'd like to thank everyone for participating in our annual ball!" He grinned. "But I have announcement to share with all of you.

"Throughout the course of the selection, I have met dozens of lovely young ladies. Each and everyone of them has been lovely, but I'd like to say today that I have indeed fallen in love.

"I've proposed to Evalyn Rosemire (condorahugs ) in private and she lovingly  accepted. I love her. She's the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. She's sweet, she's kind. She's my partner in crime." He smiled around the room before he glanced to his left, waving slightly. "And we are to get married in a week from today. Angel, will you come out here with me?" He finished, his arms outstretched.
