    IN THE CITY, life moves at a breakneck speed, with towering skyscrapers and crowded streets pulsing with energy. The air is filled with the constant hum of traffic, the buzz of people rushing to their next destination, and the flicker of neon lights that blur into the night. It's where time seems to slip away, swallowed by the endless activity cycle, and every moment is filled with possibilities waiting to be seized.

     Grace Sawyer loved that. 

  Then there was Stars Hallow. The town unfolded at a much slower pace. It was there where the days were measured by the gentle chime of the church bell and the rustle of leaves in the breeze. There were quaint shops with familiar faces, front porches where neighbors greet each other by name, and streets that grow quiet as the sun sets. Here, the sky is vast and open, the stars shine a little brighter, and time seems to stretch out. 

     Grace Sawyer hated that.

     You see in the State of Grace, everything naturally revolved around her. Much like city life — filled with energy and endless possibilities, Grace thrives on attention and the thrill of being at the center of everything. The city, with its bright lights and constant motion, feeds her desire to be noticed, to be the star in every scenario.

    In comparison to Stars Hallow, the town's antique charm fell flat in Grace's eyes. 

    However, when the town's biggest problem stepped off a Greyhound bus from New York to Connecticut, Grace couldn't help but wonder if maybe there was more to this dull town after all.

so... it's been a minute. this story has been sitting in my drafts for 4 years (umm hello?!) and after a recent draft cleanup in my Google Docs I decided to plot for it again (give it up for impulsive decisions)?! I know the intro summary doesn't give away much, but I hope it is enough to keep you wanting more. It has been a minute since I have written a slow-paced story so I am excited to be able to do that. please let me know what you think :)
