The next week we planned to have dinner with Michael's parents. I was so nervous that I could barely sleep the night before. I tried on every dress and I put my hair up then down, straight then curly. Finally I settled on a sundress and curly hair. Michael insisted that they would love me but I still had the jitters.

His parents arrived at five on the dot. I was just putting my shoes on when the doorbell rang. I heard Katherine and Michael talking then giggling. I took one last look in the mirror then headed to join them. When I started down the stairs Michael said "I would you to meet my girlfriend Nichole. Nichole this is my parents Joseph and Katherine"

I said "Hello it's nice to meet you!" By then I was next to Michael and Katherine.

Katherine said "Hello dear. I was wondering what had Michael inviting us over on such a short notice. You are just gorgeous."

Storm came to us and announced that dinner was on the way to the table. We all followed Storm to the dining room. I watched Joseph carefully because he made no effort to say hello or even acknowledge anything the others said.

During dinner Michael, Katherine and myself held a conversation well. Katherine told me stories of Michaels mischievous childhood and times he called from the road wanting her comfort. I told her a little about myself and my future aspirations.

After dinner we all had dessert on the back patio. Michael sat as close to me as he could with Katherine and Joseph sitting across from us. He said "Well I called you here to meet Nichole and also share some special news" He paused for a few seconds and grabbed my hand. "We are pregnant!"

Katherine just looked at us at first then she lit up. "That's great news Michael. I kind of figured that when Nichole only drank water and she is showing a little. How far along?"

Michael gladly told her four months. That's when Katherine said "A little big for only four months. Are you sure?"

Finally Joseph spoke up and said "Son are you sure this is your baby? Are you sure she is only four months? We only ask because you came off tour five months ago and I don't want a baby pinned on you that is not yours!"

I felt all kinds of emotions from pissed to hurt. Michael cleared his throat and said "I am sure it's mine and she will be five months in a couple of weeks. Also it's not just one baby it's triplets."

Katherine got overjoyed and Joseph didn't say anything. I excused myself before I showed the bad side of me. I did manage to tell Katherine I was tired and needed my rest.

Michaels p.o.v.
I could tell Nichole was upset by what Joseph said. After she left Katherine tried to smooth things over by saying my father was just looking out for me and we really do make a cute couple. She then began asking about my music and touring. I was still stuck on the fact that she was taking up for Joseph when he spoke up.

He said "What are you going to do when these babies are born? What about your music? And when this girl takes all your money what then?"

I stood up then and said "You know Joseph not everyone is out to hurt me like you are. For once in my life I am truly happy. You know nothing about her or the life we have."

Katherine jumped up and said "Come on Michael lets go for a walk. Let's talk about those babies, when will you know what they are?"

I said "Mother I need to be with Nichole because she is upset and there are two girls and one boy. I think it's time for you to leave."

I seen the hurt in my mothers eyes but I stood firm. I didn't wait for them to leave. I told my staff to let my parents out and make sure to lock up.

I made my way up the stairs and to Nichole's suite in record time. I knocked on the door but there was no answer. I knocked again but didn't wait for an answer this time. Nichole was no where in sight. I looked in the closet, bathroom and then back in the hall.
I asked Storm if she seen her but she hadn't seen her either. I looked all over the house before Dave told me she was out walking the ranch. I went out to find her.

Nichole's p.o.v

I calmed down once I reached the carousel. I sometimes talked to my mom who I know is always with me, watching over me. I sat on a white horse with brown hair and pink roses around its neck. I try to keep my anger under control and I have been successful for years until Joseph made me sound like a whore looking for a pay check.

Michael interrupted my thoughts. He scared me actually. He lifted me off the horse and planted a kiss on my head. He then sat down on the bench with me  in his lap.

He said "I'm sorry for Joseph but you know what really matters? Me and you."

I laid my head on his shoulder and said "I want you to know that it's not about money or trying to ruin your life. I will walk away without a dime."

He said "I never thought that. And remember I found you, you didn't find me. I wanted a baby and I got you. Nichole I really love you."

He lifted my head up and kissed me. Then we ended up having sex right there on the carousel on the bench.

Once his parents knew about me we decided to go that Thursday and look at baby items. But before we went to Buy Buy Baby and Babies R Us I called Brie to break the news to her. She was ecstatic. She made plans to visit that weekend.

Dave and three other security personnel went with us shopping. I think Michael was more ready to go shopping than anyone. He was chatty all the way to Buy Buy Baby.

We were given curbside service. Dave and Brent got out with us while the other two parked the SUVs. Brent led the way. Before we got in the store good people were whispering and pointing at us. We walked all over the clothing departments before I came up with the idea to make a baby registry. Michael decided it was a great idea.

Before we could make our way to the service desk a group of people stopped Michael and asked for autographs. Michael signed them but then the crowd grew so he said "I appreciate the love and support but right now I'm trying to take care of something very important with my girlfriend so I would like a little privacy."

The crowd of people thinned and we began the process of signing up for the registry. We got the scanner and began shopping for the babies. We scanned clothes, car seats, playpens, and any other baby item we thought was just perfect. When we got to the bottle section we couldn't decide. Michael took that time to ask my thoughts on breastfeeding. I told him that I would try but I didn't want to talk about it right then in the middle of the store. He scanned a dual breast pump.

We went to the next store and did the same thing. Almost four hours later we arrived back at the ranch with a bag of food from McDonalds and three baby books; one blue, one pink and one purple.

After we ate and relaxed Michael pulled out a digital camera. He said "I want to take a picture every week to document the grow of your belly."

I agreed and took off everything but my panties. He said "whoa not naked!"

I laughed and said "No silly I'm going to wear a sports bra and some leggings."

I got into my special clothes for the picture when I called Storm to come join us. She was going to be the photographer.

She took pictures of me standing sideways, some of me and Michael then the one I loved was the one of him kissing my belly. After the photo shoot we printed out the pictures and began our babies' books.
