even the shadows have left me behind in the dark...

how could i possibly ask you to stay? was it because you made me think i can have it my way? or that i've heard you say, you'll be with me any way?

how could i possibly have known? when you promised me infinity, made me feel the unknowns. i trusted you to make such an impact but i didn't consider the one wherein it'll feel like my flesh ( lips missing yours / body craving your touch; skin on skin / heart pumping in sync with yours ) is being tortured and my soul is being stabbed.

even my shadow keeps leaving me in the dark, why did i ever hope you would not do the same? even i would refuse to stay and care for this whole lot of a mess.
