After his original self was killed by Ohma Zi-O, God decided to give him one more chance but with no memory of his past adventures and friends. Initially hesitant, he decides to accept it and is reborn as Y/n Kadoya into a fairly healthy family. His new family is popular because of their photography skills.

During Y/n's childhood, he befriends a girl named Hikari Kamiya and two boys named Peter Parker and Ben Tennyson. They become best friends as he makes more friends. Years later, he gains a sister, and one day he meets a Digimon named Gammamon who says he is Y/n's partner and little brother. Y/n also discovers that Hikari has a Digimon too, as well as Hikari's friends. They explain to Y/n that they are DigiDestined, but when he was just 6 years old, he lost his parents. This left him and his sister, Sayo Kadoya, in the custody of the family's butler, Kotaro Taiyou.

When his sister Sayoko Kadoya awakens her power to manifest the ability to open Aurora Curtains, Y/n decides not to travel like Tsukasa but to help his little sister with her powers.

However, at the age of 15-16, he decides to go through a delinquent phase out of boredom and because he heard a story that his butler, a father figure, was a delinquent and the ruler of the school.

He often finds himself in fights with other delinquents, resulting in bruises on his face or body. Hikari frequently punishes him for his recklessness.

Eventually, Y/n grows tired of Hikari using her "Laughter Pressure Point" on him and decides to stop being a delinquent, although he continues to wear his outfit.

Y/n then decides to open a small photo business, roaming around his neighborhood or city to earn money, and he becomes quite popular due to his great photos and become pretty famous with the girl because of his good looks, as his friends call him the Rizz God.

One day, while he is taking photos, an Aurora Curtain appears. Y/n sees a man in an all-white outfit who addresses him as 'Decade' and urges him to protect the world. He is told to try to remember anything from his past, leaving him confused. Later, he will find out why the person said to protect the world.
