Chapter 6: A night on the town
Jasmine's POV:
It's been a few days since the van incident. I had developed some new friends, at this dreaded high school.
Julie was on the volleyball, basketball and softball team. She is probably the closes of my friends. She doesn't judge, and she's always got my back.
Next is Sam. She is that one friend in the group that will fight someone in a heartbeat. She takes 'fight me bitch' to a whole new level.
Last but not least is Maylin. She is the nerdy one, in the group. I dont mind it, cuz she helps me with my homework.
Overall, I wouldn't trade meeting them for anything.
Today it was sunny, for once but people still wore long sleeves and jeans. At lunch, we basked in the sunlight. "Ahhh this feels so good." Sam said, as the sun hit her olive skin.
"Yes the light helps." Maylin said, as she read a book. I smiled. "Whatcha reading may?" I asked curiously.
"Fifty Shades of Grey." She said, with a slight blush on her face. Sam looked at her, with a slight amused look in her eye. "How naughty." She teased
Maylin rolled her eyes. "You know i am not the goody goody, you make me out to be." She said a matter of factly
I let out a chuckle. "So what are you guys doing, this weekend?" I asked. I would probably be doing the usual. Sitting at home or hanging out with Abby.
"Lets go clubbing.' Julie said with a mischievous smirk on her face. I turned to look at her. "And just how do you expect us to pull that off?' I asked.
She scoffed. "Fake IDs duh." She said. Sam was getting excited by this. Maylin was too but im pretty sure she was just trying to prove something.
"So I guess it's settled then. Meet me at my house Saturday at 7. I'll have all our IDs ready." Julie said grinning like crazy.
Now one thing about me is I'm a terrible liar. You can tell by looking at me that I'm lying. That being said it was gonna be a chore keeping this from my dad.
So Saturday rolled around and I tarted myself up but not too much. "So where are you going?" A voice asked making me jump.
I turned to see Bella in my doorway. "Geez Bella don't do that!' I said holding my chest. I was also scared easily.
She rolled her eyes. "You haven't answered my question." She said. "If you must know im going out with some of my friends.' I said.
She nodded. "Be careful.' She said before walking away. I smiled slightly before grabbing my keys
Julie's house was huge. I think it had like 8 or 9 bedrooms plus bathrooms. Julie was already on the front porch with a the same grin on her face as before.
I got out of the car still nervous. My palms were starting to sweat. "Hey my sister from another mister!" She said hugging me.
"Hey." I said. "Well Sam and Maylin are inside watching tv. My parents are out of town for the weekend so we can crash here tonight." She said.
I simply nodded. I didn't know why I just had a bad feeling about this. I couldn't shake it but it was there. I decided to keep it to myself
I was in the back sweat of Julie's mustang as we rode to the club. I didn't even known the name of it. Julie said it didn't matter.
I got out of the car and walked to the front door of the club. A tall muscular dude was standing at the front door.
"IDs please." He said rather polielty. We all showed him and he let us in. I went to the first open table and sat down.
Maylin sat beside me. "You don't look too good." She said worriedly. I rolled my eyes playfully. "Well you don't exactly look like a fruit basket yourself." I joked.
Before she could say anything else Sam and Julie sat down. "Lets get us some drinks." Sam said. Julie ordered the drinks but me and Maylin declined ours since someone had to be sober to drive us home.
The thick smokey air of the club was making it hard to breathe. "Hey I'm gonna go outside for a second." I told Maylin. Sam and Julie were too drunk to remember their own names.
I felt the cool air of the night hit my face as i walked out. The fresh air felt refreshing. But my peaceful moment wouldn't last.
"Hey sexy looking for a good time?" A drunk guy asked slinging his arm around me. I could smell the alcohol on his breath. He was joined by 3 others.
"Thanks but no." I said pushing him off of me. I wasn't in the mood for anyone's crap. I heard a growl come from his throat.
"Come on let us show you a good time you stuck up bitch." He snapped. I was backed into a corner. I closed my eyes and prayed.
And then just like that my prayers were answered. Out of nowhere a sliver Volvo pulls up.
An angry Edward Cullen gets out. "Get in the car." He told me shoving the guys away from me. I ran and jumped in the car.
And it was just like that he saved my life yet again. But wait.... How did he know where I was? Was he stalking me?
But I never could have predicted my questions would soon be answered. And you should have seen the look on my face
