No one's POV:

It was a normal winter day, December 30th, a blanket of thinly laid snow everywhere. Kids already at school seeing as it was around 8:40 PM, classes were set to start soon. Many had started to head to their grueling day jobs but something strange happened.

Bing!

The familiar sound of a text but the strange thing is everyone's phone had gone off. Many confused as some had set it to quiet or vibrate but it still made a noise. Everyone checked their phones, though it didn't hide small confusion spread everywhere, now some simply thought it was an accident. Though the notification which had gave the sound off, was far from an accident.

"Let's play a game. :)" This set many into confusion some in fear but many were secretly curious. Nobody could have predicted the future events which had started to spread and happen. With these new events the horrific discovery came to like.

The undead.

Everyone's favorite horror theme actually becoming reality nobody would've believed it. Until they see their best friend being eaten alive right in front if their very eyes. Panic spread through out every country and every town. Yes the dead were slow but as time continued, they evolved as we have. Some evolved slower but some grew at unexpected rates and it was horrifying.

With this newer found discovery besides the undead another came upon the surface. Certain individuals were gifted amazing abilities from unnatural to godlike. One is foolish to call themselves a god when they held no part of their world before. The original texter was theorized to have started this entire issue. A mad hunt had began for the remaining people of what was once the powerful race.

They had no clues about the supposed hacker unfortunately but one clue was given after evolved grew. "I'll be closer then you all think. :)" This spiraled the once strong trust of many, from the teams they had made. Some tried to remain calm throughout this but some simply couldn't cope with everything. The zombies that had evovled were beyond human belief and hope started to diminish.

The texter though hadn't given anymore insight to anything that had happened or what they planned. Nobody realized someone is watching them all from behind the shadows. Red eyes was the only description many had said they saw. Then suddenly the power was still kept around like someone controlled it. They never realized though those red eyes were such a small detail to the actual appearance.

Red eyes watched the multiple screens with a neutral expression at first but as time grew they smirked. They were enjoying the chaos they had set out as planned. Nobody would every suspect them right away simply for their eyes. This was their foolish mistake of what they could've used as a hint. All in due time will they discover the truth, especially the young female whose at the root of it all.

Y/n L/n was a prime subject but in what exactly though? You'll find your answer much later dear ones.

Author note: Yo! My name is Ghoul, this is my first official story where I'm forcing myself to write. This book will have the followings: gore, dark mentions, dark tones, small love, mystery, adventure, fantasy, and finally martial arts. This story isn't focused on the romance right away but slowly and surely it will show some mentions. You can vote what reader does or can even suggest what stuff can happen ;) might take them lol. But seriously enjoy this attempt at mystery since I needed practice. I hope to see future comments on the chapters and funny shenanigans I write. I do ask you excuse any grammar or spelling mistakes.
