᯽The one who slayed Meghnad᯽

Everything happens for a reason in the epic Ramayana. Ravana's (the main antagonist in the Ramayana) son Meghnad had the boon to die only at the hands of a Gudakesh person.
Lakshman's victory over his sleep qualified him to be the Meghnad's slayer aka Indrajit. The latter is regarded as one of the Atimaharathi class warriors born on Earth,
who wields Trimurti - the three powerful Astras
(weapons) respectively named Brahmandastra, Vaishnavastra, and Pashupatastra.
On the third day of the battle, Lakshman uses Anjalika-Astra to defeat Meghnad.
It is worth noting that defeating him was critical to the development of the story as we know it today.
