This interview was conducted prior to Kade and Tan's trip to hell.

It's good to meet with you Kade. Could I first ask, what were your first impressions on meeting Tanya?

Hi, it's nice to meet you, too.

I first saw Tan, on the street in Chicago. She struck me, because she looked so deep in thought, so alone and vulnerable that I felt drawn to her, in a protective way. I decided to say something 'jokey' to break the ice and she took off, like a full on sprint across the road. I remember thinking, 'jeez, do I look that bad, do I smell?' She wasn't an immediate confidence booster, that's for sure.

You said meeting her again in the Delhi was a coincidence, was it really?

Absolutely. When I worked as an App Designer I'd go there regularly for lunch. I spotted her again and decided to join her. Then she started telling me all the ridic stuff about her life and I just thought she was being goofy. The absurdity of her story, which at that point I didn't believe, endeared me to her even more – I found her super cute and hilarious.

Tanya never physically describes what The Surgeon and The Twins look like – can you tell us?

Aaaah, there's a reason for that – Tan doesn't ever want to say anything 'good' about that trio. And the truth is, they are very 'good looking.'

It pains me to say it, but The Surgeon is physically perfect: tall, great figure and a facial bone structure that defies the aging process. And The Twins, being her clones have her physical perfection, with the added bonus of youth.

Who do they look like, celebrity wise?

OK – jeez, no one obvious springs to mind. But I guess the closest I can think of is: with their alabaster skin, coal black hair, huge dark eyes and full mouths – I'd say they look like a young(er) Ann Hathaway. Seriously, it stings me to say it, but they're smoking HOT!

Steady on. If Tanya reads this, she'll get jealous.

I'm the jealous guy. Tan doesn't have a jealous bone in her body, which is one of the many things I love about her. She knows I think they're hot, but she knows I don't like ugly hearts, and their hearts are ugly to the core. Above all, I'm attracted to a person's mind, rather than what they look like. I know I'll never tire of Tan's mind, and she knows that, too.

Yourself and Tan have a great relationship, is it as good as it seems.

You bet. Tan is my world (cheddaree, but true.) When you've experienced what we have, you either bond or break, and Tan and I are bonded tight. Hell, if The Twins had succeeded we'd be 'literally stitched together' right now. But, you know, if they had conjoined us, Tan and I would have found a way to deal with it.

Can we ask a personal question?

You can, but I'll decide whether I want to answer it when I hear it.

I know a lot of readers wonder whether you and Tan have a physical relationship, or is it purely a platonic relationship?

*LAUGHS* I wondered when we'd get to the frickle frackle department. Look, Tan and I are a regular young couple and we enjoy a very rewarding and active private life. But it's exactly that: private.

So your relationship isn't platonic?

No. All aspects of our relationship are fizzing – I got no complaints.

If you could choose one trait of Tanya's to single out as awesome, what would it be?

Without question, it's her integrity. She has the most morally minded heart of anyone I know. But this strength is sometimes her weakness as she can let her heart rule her head and make hasty decisions that are not always right and can perhaps, jeopardise our situation. But that's why we're a great team, we both recognise our strengths and weaknesses and support each other.

You promised Tan a happy ever after. Are you confident you can deliver?

Sure thing. And I'll let you guys into a little secret, let's just say you can expect a *Perfect Proposal* in future updates. I've got it all planned, we just need to get this hellish trip successfully over with and then...well, I'm sure Tan will tell you all about it!
