she is usually

ignored; like how

she ignores them.

but when they

do notice her

when they see her

as an obstacle

and not anything else,

they shove her

they break her

they spit evil words

onto her innocent heart

and she is left

trying hard

not to cry.

i wish i 

could just jump

in and rescue her

as her prince charming

if only i wasn't

such a coward
