Song for the day: Ruler of Everything by Tally Hall

Just some quick crossover pics I did at the end of the school year last year... if you guys are hip to some crossovers, I have some RIDICULOUSLY extensive crossovers for CRUX/Deja Vu and Steven Universe/Deja Vu. They'll probably come up at some point but I'm trying to spread the love out between my books, which is difficult given the sheer volume of stories I have (weeps silently in corner).

Older!Adam's my main man. He gets TOL. Also this is just Adam and Red riffing on the fact that they're both the virtue prone to the most trauma out of the nine. Light virtues are... well, let's just say that a good half of my light characters are the ones who get most screwed by their respective books? Hopefully that puts things into perspective. We're talking Red, Adam, Lotus, Indy, Rena, Illuet, Damien, Amy... I could keep going, but while we're on the subject, dark kids.

From left to right: Tuck from Cross the Waters, Gale from The Cities Have Fallen, Derrick from Crux, Evan from Deja Vu, Fenris from Luminous, Daniel from Lux, and Cain from The World Has Always Been Ending. Besides spiky hair and eyeliner, the dark Virtues are characterized by extrinsic motivations (usually one singular goal that keeps their whole life and identity together), paranoia, and general aloofness. They're directly opposed to the light Virtues, who are internally focused, but the light/dark duo are essentially my catch all for "let me make a header category for my dysfunctional characters". The whole virtue thing's really just how I order my kids...
