Song for the day: If I Ever Feel Better by Phoenix

Not the biggest fan of realism but I like to try my hand at it every now and then. Usually a lot of my characters just don't fit well with it and if there's ANY character who REALLY doesn't translate well, it's Derrick, with his terrible fox face and general features. I figured I should at least give him a shot, because it helps me visualize when writing my books... I'm not terribly proud of this, but I'm still glad I did it. Looking up references and figuring out how to integrate certain features was hell though.

 You can tell it's not full realism but it's more realistic than I usually go. As for the piercings, no they are not canon. But they should be. I could totally do that next draft.

Derrick probably wouldn't let anyone approach him with a gun in canon so I don't know how he would possibly get piercings. Fox hang ups? Fox hang ups. I'm similarly immaculate but that's mainly because when someone pokes me with a needle I scream so piercing is out of the question.
