Song for the Day: No Rest by Dry The River

Everybody likes a glow-up, right? Apparently my art HAS improved over the last two years, so here are some over two year comparisons for the Deja Vu kids. The "old" pictures (you will be able to tell which is which) are from November 2016, and were my very first pictures of the kids. New pics are from yesterday.

Anthem with her meat puppet, Adam Rosenbloom. Adam's hard to draw because you have to consciously balance "yeah that looks like a normal well-adjusted teenage guy" with Adam's personality, which is really just a depression sandwich, which I imagine is a normal sandwich but it's been left out in the rain for three days and isn't sad but just can't feel anything anymore.

Old Adam. The things wrong with this picture are immense, but include me not knowing how to draw men and the fact that Anthem SMILES. No. Very bad.

Shiloh on the other hand at least smiles occasionally. Proportions are a little off on this one and I'm still working on how to make the cherubs uncanny without making them just look stupid, but hey, I'm a developing artist and no one expects anything out of me, which means I can effectively do whatever I want. Anyways, this is Will and Shiloh.

Evan's face had to improve because I literally draw him constantly. His shoulders could definitely be wider here but I've finally gotten to a point where I at least like his face. Are those dark circles or is that eyeliner? The answer is it's definitely both lmao

Also please lord forgive me for drawing extended canines on Evan I can't help myself he has teef

oh good lord 

Finally, Amanda. Probably the one on here I'm least satisfied with but I've definitely drawn BETTER Amandas in the past and will continue to do so.
