Song for the day: 

*BUSTS DOWN DOOR* did anyone say old art? This is from around this time o' year last year, when I was obsessed with Muse. Okay, so a little later-- the MUSE cast last year were my Christmas gifts. When I didn't finish NaNoWriMo, I proceeded to develop four casts in the course of a month. These casts would be Penstroke, Cutthroat, MUSE, and Overkill, in that order, which so happens to be the order I'm writing them in. Expect to see these kids eventually regardless, possibly in 2020? It'll be a while, but geez, I can only write so fast. 

So! Niobe! 

(btw if you need a refresher muse is a story within a story and niobe is one of the characters within that inner story which is being written by the players of the outer story) 

Niobe is Matteo's protagonist, and his first female protagonist at that. He's not that great at writing women so he's trying very very hard not to sexualize her but at the same time he keeps going "WAIT IS THIS INCORRECT SINCE SHES NOT A GUY" and really he just needs to chill but the poor man is very committed to artistic integrity 

Niobe is her world's equivalent of a nun/monk. She also rides huge dragon-like mantas (see the MUSE Inktober piece) although hers are killed before the book begins, which has left her bitter, angry, and depressed. Nonetheless, underneath this she was once a playful spirit who never took the world too seriously and with an undying love for life.
