Song for the day: Caroline, Please Kill Me by Coma Cinema 

It's technically not my fault I've probably repeating this song for the fifth time because it's the best Caroline song. I would go back through all the Out of Bounds chapters and check that I haven't used it but... eh? If anyone finds a chapter I've repeated a song, as I've said, I'll give dedications for anyone who's willing to nitpick. Then again, I really just like shoving my music taste in people's faces. 

SO CAROLINE

is kind of a vent character. Well, she's like a 7 on the Emma scale, not that she's worth 7 Emmas, but that if Emma was a 10 and let's say, Avery, was a 1, because Avery is the opposite of angst, then Caroline would probably be 7. Caroline is probably not an actual human. Everyone in her group is confused about this, but Caroline somehow sticks around, so they just have to deal with her, I guess? Also there's this whole fiasco with the bat and one of the main characters and it's some crunchy drama but damn shit hits hard

I'm going to have fun writing this book but I promise most of it's pretty lighthearted. Like it's not this existential angst about "fuck I'm empty" like Adam Rosenbloom's REALLY OBVIOUS DEPRESSION it's just kinda like heck, it's caroline

also this is not canon which is why it's not labelled spoils, caroline doesn't smile in canon and i'm not telling you what happens to alix at the end. anything you see here is joke-y speculation which has nothing to do with canon canon
