Song for the day: Penny by Jack Stauber

Penny told me that we're all gonna go someday...

and that made me mad. That made me very unhappy.

Alric is my disaster perfectionist son. I love him and someday, when the sun rises on the Penstroke series, you will, also. If you want, you can check off that item on your to-do list by appreciating him right now, because I have art.

Lil' unfinished, very old, but this is Alric's muse form (left) VS his civilian form (right). I don't know if I've talked about why he's missing part of his eyebrow, but if not, you guys are going to know! In a year! Maybe! It's one hell of a story. Alric's a lot less controlled in his muse form, as I tried to evidence with the design, but regardless he looks a lot older than he actually is (like 14 or something???) mainly because everyone around him kept telling him to grow up. Being an easily influenced kid in an adult-filled household where no one seems to have any intentions of letting you leave tends to take a toll on your development but he at least seems fine on the surface, I guess

Alric is also a big fan of Penny's, although it's not mutual. They are betrothed to each other and Penny is not happy about it. However, they will eventually have to go on missions together (IT TURNS OUT YOU CAN DO THE WORDS AND THE PICTURES AT THE SAME TIME), so despite fundamentally different sets of beliefs and methods of doing their job, the two are going to have to sort their shit out.
